  1. As far as I am concerned, it is not OK to tell lies here. The truth is so much more rewarding.
  2. Rode over 46 miles, and ran 5K.
  3. Rode over 51 miles along the San Gabriel River Trail @ 16.1 ave speed.
  4. 54.5 miles @ 16.4 rolling ave along the San Gabriel River Trail. A lot of people on the trail this morning, and it's not even the weekend. Very few people on the afternoon ride back. Coastal clouds while heading towards the beach. What sounded like thunder echoing down the river bed, turned out to be from the firing range of the Long Beach Police Academy. Ha ha, they fooled me for a second.
  5. Rode the bike over 45 miles to and from a monthly 5K run along the San Gabriel River Trail. I ran the 3.1 miles in 32 min. 09 sec.
  6. Over 33 miles @ 13 ave for 2.5 hours riding time
  7. I saw the same type of report about a Strava segment that went through a busy intersection from a hill. Whoever setup these segments are lunatics. I road 2.60 miles with my grandkids today.
  8. Rode over 1 and a half miles around Wilderness Park. Nice Fathers Day ride with my Grandchildren.
  9. Rode over 32 miles along Turnbull Canyon Road in Whittier/La Habra today. Up and over the 2.5 mile climb @5% grade, then back up the other side. I added a third climb for my ride today in recognition of Mr. Beanz 3 trips up San Dimas Ave climb yesterday. I felt motivated and added Hadley Street climb. I had a great day of riding.
  10. I do short rides with my grand kids. I will start logging them in here too. Last Summer I had them up to 6 miles. They did 9 miles on 6/11.
  11. Road over 53 miles today along the San Gabriel River Trail to the coast. The beach area was cool and overcast (June gloom). The ride back to the start was sunny and hot.
  12. Road over 52 miles today along the San Gabriel River Trail. A rider caught up to me and we Pace lined the last 4 miles to the coast. It was fun to get his draft during his pulls.
  13. Rode the whole San Gabriel River Trail up and back for a total of over 76 miles. I ride this trail all the time, but never did it for the entire length (38 miles) and back. Stopped for lunch at a new place in Seal Beach called Glory Days. Tried their burger and draft beer. Rode the last 20 miles after lunch for a total of just under 5 hours of riding.
  14. Rode the bike 49.5 miles down and back to the coast for an annual 5K run. Had a good day.
  15. Road part of the ToC Stage 7 mountain route, Hwy 39 and Glendora Mt Road (GMR). Started 9am along the San Gabriel River Trail (SGRT) then over to the Rio Hondo River Trail then to Santa Fe Dam connecting to Hwy 39 to GMR and back to the start along the SGRT. Road over 77 miles with over 4700 ft of climbing, over 6 hours on the saddle finishing around 4pm. Tired and sore, but feeling great about today's ride.
