That's what makes it an adventure.  With no apprehension beforehand you have less feelings of accomplishment afterwards. I have thought about doing that ride many times, the logistics of getting in to the city and to the start of the ride and getting back out of the city is what has kept me from doing it.  I'm not a fan of big cities. I'm a country boy.

FTR, it wasn't my idea, but I saloot you for going on an adventure.  It will be fun!  Yooper on a bike in the big city - I like it!

I've spent quite a bit of time preparing for this. I think I lucked out with my "home base." I am about 2 blocks from a subway line that will be "easy" for travel to and from the airport and into the city for stuff I want to do.

Very excited, but yes, "apprehension" is a good word. Can't believe I'm actually doing this! hee hee.,..
