It is planned obsolescence. To make all of us with metallic paint think we need new vehicles. And I think it is working. They are growing on me.

I have been curious about these burgers, and see them in the freezer section whenever at one of the local grocery concerns. I finally bought them and tried one just now. I cooked it according to the directions, and decided that this is not the correct way after all. It came out well-done, which is a horrific way to have burgers. Not that it was super bad or anything, but nothing to write home about since it was so overdone for most people. Next time, I will adjust time/temperature and shoot for medium rare and see how that goes. Anyway, I got them because when I buy ground beef to make burgers, I will make a couple small ones or a bigger one, and half of the meat sticks around for quite a while so there is much more chance of spoilage/tossage. These were definitely a curiosity/convenience purchase, and I have to admit that it is nice to just pull one out of the freezer when needed.
