I just got yelled at by my son for holding the front door open to long while the furnace is running. I reminded him of the day when a kid lived in my house and would leave the door wide open in the winter and the refrigerator door, leave the lights on, running the air conditioner with the windows open. It's drifrent when someone else is paying the bills.10 points

Jack is in his 70's and a resident where I work... I am not sure of his food choices...but I know he has made changes...he is also walking for 1 hour twice a day..he also uses the weights (we have a small set of hand weights I think 25 is the heaviest...) Anyway...He told me he gained a bunch a weight when he was transferred out of state for his job...I think he is in his early 70's...probably retired and moved to our building about 4 years ago or so... More inspiration to move...between Jack and DH...I have no excuse.6 points

I still owe on my car until fall. I've only had it four years. I plan to keep it four or five more years. I want to beat @petitepedal as the slowest car buying experience on the forum. I'm looking at a convertible Camaro.5 points

41 with Gina and a couple others till we developed a group. I stayed at the front the entire time setting the pace for Gina seeing she hasn't been on the bike in almost a month now. I tried to hold steady and she was happy with it. Hit some monster headwinds heading to the coast so I'm happy that she kept up just fine. The other guys were happy to stay in back. On the way to the coast I tried to hold the pace down but it was push or fall ha ha! At the start, 4 of us! Couple more hopped on. Picked up a few along the way, here and there! Gina was happy it was over but she did very well today. I can't complain!4 points

#1 rule, not too much if any mayo! I like the vinegar based ones. I'd say just UTFG and go with what sounds decent.3 points

I hope our twins don't start climbing the manure pile. I'd hate to have to move them to the barn. They had their first bath at home last night. Caedmon was screaming his head off the whole time. My son made a video and posted it. The sisters are in love with their little brothers.3 points

But wouldn't it be just great if a whole bunch of frat boys in a fully carpeted 80's Ford Econoline Touring Edition showed up at the front door of their headquarters saying "Dudes, we brought some beer, now where's the hot MILFs?" Or do you think they get this all the time and really wish they'd used a different name?2 points

You run for 9 miles. You do an hour of yoga. You post about it on a cycling website. That you manage and maintain for the inmates. I can't decide whether to admire your many talents, or consider you insane. Perhaps I'll just settle for admiring your insanity.2 points

We prefer no mayo and a cooked dressing-- really yummy. I usually leave out the celery seed and add some finely chopped celery to the cabbage, carrots, and red bell pepper. Throw it together in a non-reactive pan and bring just to a boil--- make sure the sugar melts. Cool and mix with the veggies. 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar 6 tablespoons sugar 6 tablespoons olive oil 2 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard 1 teaspoon celery seed a bit of white pepper2 points

Next time I come down here I think I'm going to look for something from the SweetWater Dank Tank. I was telling Wo46 that it has to be the water and that would explain everyone drinks sweet tea.2 points

When I was gonna have my kids they told me I could watch in a mirror. I handed my glasses off to someone so I didn't see anything. (pukey face) As long as this mother giraffe is in the far corner, I'm OK with seeing that birth...But I may need to remove my glasses.2 points

Back in those days it was sometimes hard to get promoted. Heck when I first joined there were guys retiring as E-5s. Of course when I first joined up two of the commands were "mount' and "dismount".2 points

Some years, we are a little late with our gathering...and there is, as usual, white elephant gifting. Thank you to everyone who inspired my gift this year.1 point
