  1. 62 miles is a long freaking way. Took 4:18; we averaged 15 for 45 miles, then hit a headwind and I kind of tanked at the end a bit. Im currently questioning my life choices.

  14. Great late summer weather here this weekend. My wife is gone up north for her aunt's funeral. I'm left here to ride my bike, drink beer, and meet up with a friend for lunch. The rest of the day will be devoted to drinking more beer, ( just one more) and maybe starting on organizing the garage/man cave. More great weather coming tomorrow, so wash, rinse, and repeat.

  15. All over body inspection at the dermatologist's office. Again, two women and me in my underwear. Total was four spots she said were pre-cancerous, four barnacles, and one mole under my arm that bothered me when I perspired a lot, which is often, so she shaved that off. I'm pretty tanned from being outside all summer, and she asks "Are you in the sun a lot?". Duh. I'm standing there and she's looking over the rest of me and she said "You must work out?". "Yep", I said.

Got up a tad late after a strange drear where I had my nails done...super long...I don't do that stuff...so it was strange..I mean once and awhile I do my nails...but they are mine not that added stuff and not an inch long Got dressed quickly and started picking up stuff from my deck before it started to rain...got my grill to the kitchen (next step is to the garage)..washed my hummingbird feeder and tossed out a dried out end of the year plant from the deck..and swept!! Then I made tea and balanced my check book...I am not rich...but I can feed myself for the next couple of weeks

  26. A Denny's burger and a large cup of coffee was pretty darn good about 4 am Friday morning, sitting on the side of the road. We had ridden about 120 miles, and had 80+ to go.

  36. Serious for a moment. I am very jealous of the new bond between @Randomguy and @Old#7 I mean how cool is what #7 did? You don't get many chances at friendship like that at our age and these 2 may have pulled it off. Kudos!

  44. We could be a team. She would give me clearance and security credentials at the senior home. I would roam the halls and soon have all the love and access I would need. In a few weeks, things would slowly disappear. Rolex here, diamond brooch there. If they ever do notice, who's the first person they're going to call? The trusted Petite!, my 36% partner. Petite could guide me to the right apartments with her insider knowledge. A few meows and purrs later, I'm in like Flynn, baby!! Who can resist a fertile male calico cat? Frank Calico Cat
