I am ordering a reciprocating saw and a circular saw for pick up at the local Lowe's. One of our employees has a 3 year old who wants power tools. Only thing is she just found this out today--- her 28 year old husband has pancreatic cancer. The little boy keeps telling Santa he wants his daddy to get better. Today he told Mrs. Claus that he wants power tools like his dad. With the dad not working and mounting medical bills they can't afford toys--especially last moment. I found her crying in her office today so I asked an elf (Mr. Aire) to make this wish come true. Hopefully, we will be able to pick them up in store tomorrow morning and get them to the house while the little boy is not looking.

Gus, as some of you know, is the good doggie who owns FRoS. I like Gus. For some reason, Gus sent me two gallons of washer fluid, by priority mail no less. That's what the return address said anyway. But I suspect that Gus didn't pick out the box, but that some person better known for practical jokes and mastermind pranking selected it. I opened the box and found a number of items that were thoughtfully selected, so I knew it had to be Gus! I don't know how he got all this past the post office 'anything liquid, vegetable, or mineral' question. He probably just wagged his tail and melted the heart of the postal clerk. There are four types of ginger beer, including Regatta, my absolute favorite! Besides that, there's a bottle of ginger ale, plus as you can see a tin filled with homemade cookies! (Actually, it no longer looks like this as the number cookies is significantly diminished.) I'm really going to enjoy this over the holidays! And I am most grateful to Gus for his kindness and thoughtfulness!

Order online pick up in store worked great. Stood in Lowe’s to wrap. On our way to Wegmans in Greece to deliver. Mom and little boy will go in store and leave car unlocked. Then we will put gifts in trunk and lock up.

They were brought to Bombardier in a demo aircraft to attend last nights dinner party and reception. Very nice event. We brought the group to Toronto today in their new plane. Nice ride! Nice people. I may just park myself here for the last 8 years of of my career. I got home to a nice gift basket with monogrammed Alpaca blankets, a very expensive bottle of wine and a thank you card from them. Grand Cayman between Christmas and NY. I am taking the airline home option. Been gone for most of the past 9 weeks.

7 months old Male Registered Siberian Husky. Nice and friendly. Good mover. He was going to be used for breeding but the owner decided he didn't want one with one brown and one blue eye. He wants both eyes blue. I found a 10 month old with both blue eyes, both parents champions. He is buying that one and I got this one given to me for a sled dog. Ready to start on the sled. Picture isn't the greatest. Have had him 2 days now.

My red hot pokers that I stick in my eyes when I need some abuse have grown cold and dull, so a Walmart trip will have to suffice. There were probably 300 people in the store, 18 of them were aware that there were other people in the store. The 282 would stop in bottlenecks, turn randomly, and just be pains in my ass. I did very well, didn't physically throttle or even audibly cuss anyone. Stopped for a beer on my way home. No holiday pay. I'm salary. The one good benefit is I work from home; which is a double edge sword as I never leave work. I am grateful for the job I'm just tired of working so damn much. While I'm paid well, I'm sometimes profoundly unhappy with what I do. Your husband actually helps people in a very direct and empathetic way. I don't do that with my gig. While I help people under duress from the stress from work, I help my co-workers and clients, it's not the same thing as what your husband does. I guess what I'm driving at is, I ultimately want to do what your husband does or something similar. DK

Hope you feel better soon. I was up at 3:30. Shila needed to go out. One time a night isn't bad for a 10 week old puppy but it is hard to go back to sleep when it is an hour before you usually get up. Now it is 7:30 and I have finished a whole pot of coffee, ate breakfast, Fed the dogs, horses and cattle. Took Balto on his morning run. Coco and Shila are in the fenced yard playing. Labs and huskys have a lot of energy. Maybe I should trade them for Airedales. @Airehead?? Nah, I think I'll keep them. They think they own me.
