My autism boy had a bad night so his mom called and said they were staying home today. I managed to enjoy the first part of the service and then I noticed the code number for the special needs ministry blinking on the wall. I went back to see what was going on. A mother had checked her 2 1/2 year old boy into the class for his age but didn’t give a heads up that he had cerebral palsy. They didn’t have enough staff in that class to deal with him so I became Malachi’s one on one best friend today. He is a cute little guy but oh my is he active. We got along real well but he does not want to sit still for anything. My grandaughters thought it was cool that I was in chapel with them.6 points

I was real busy today because my wife stayed home not feeling well. I picked up four princesses and took them to church and got them all checked into their classes. I didn’t take time to take many pictures but did snap this one of a couple of them. The little one was sad because nana wasn’t here.4 points

About 5000 steps on the bike path. 1.5 miles. Felt good. No more coughing up blood. I think that’s out of my lungs now.3 points

1.7 miles on foot. Contrary to SWs prognostication I didn’t die. Coughing up much less blood. Just a trace. Passed my first test. Lots of challenges ahead, but no difficulty walking around my block today. Couldn’t have done that last Saturday.3 points

The crowd arrived. I fed them a spiral ham, smashed potatoes, green peas and a bit of grilled chicken for those who don't like ham. All of this was after the usual pre dinner feast of deviled eggs, dip and chips etc. I hope they go home soon.2 points

I've been thinking about taking it off once the weather warms up. Been wearing a beard continuously since 2002.2 points

Gotta get my birthday miles in today since the weather is BEAUTIFUL, Easter is packed full of family, and Monday (my actual birthday) is gonna be rainy/sleet/freezing rain (or perfect). So, 49 miles @ 17mph with 2,175' climbing. A busy day out there, and I even went the extra mile not required by birthday mile rules. The 10mph wind, though, was brutal on the return lap. Tom2 points

23 miles on Saturday more than doubled my YTD total. (Ugh) Felt great to be out on the road bike, though still chillier than I'd have liked.2 points

Not to be heretical, but shouldn't Rolling Stone Magazine have a big cover story on today? <ducks and runs to lightning free zone>2 points
