I start Monday April 30th! It took a while to work itself out but i got a call from HR today followed by the offer letter. More money than initially discussed and way more than I currently earning. Back in the industry I came from but from the proprietary side, not a contractor. Less day to day headaches but more responsibility. I got a call in to the owner of the firm as I don't just want to drp an email on him but the letter is drafted and ready to send.5 points

I don't make for a very good racer. I'm more interested in checking out the new scenery. And then I stop to take pics.4 points

Decided to put some effort into eating better by bringing healthy food to the office. Been eating a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast most mornings instead of hitting the deli for breakfast burritos. Last night I cooked 4 chicken breasts in teriyaki marinade. Brought them and some steam in the bag broccoli to the office. Lunch this week will be simple, cleaner, tasty and less expensive. Should save $25 to $30 per week doing this and get better quality food. On a side not, what do you call the hard stalky bit of broccoli that is left over after you bite the tasty broccoli heads off? I am going with broccolegs, but am open to better suggestions. Wish me luck.2 points

I stopped grabbing lunch out and it has helped me lose weight and save money. When I make stir fry or soups with veggies I peel the broccoli stalks and slice them up. My wife was confused the first time I did that, huh what veggie is this, it tastes like broccoli!?!?!?2 points

I see a quarter laying around, I am taking it. Does that make me a bum or a sanitation worker?2 points

You miss Nate and Dora_Sanchez and Road Runner and Tim Burr and Airwick and Wilbur, but do you ever once miss Horny Aunt Airwick or Wonder Woman or Slavoljub Stijepović? Road Runner logs off to go take a dump and you guys form a search party and plan a welcome back reception. Airwick stubs his toe and you start a GoFundMe page. disgust.2 points

I'm still trying to figure out why Specialized would make a special bike color for this guy.2 points

My first "speedbike" as a kid was gold. The classic CCM "Pursuit 5", so I like the gold one. My wife's Specialized Ruby is that burgundy colour, it is kind of cool, sorta coffee coloured in some light, burgundy-ish in others. She likes it. I wish super short shorts would come back in fashion for men. I have great legs and I am sure most women would enjoy me showing them off. If the Crocodile Hunter hadn't of gone and died, he'd have made them mainstream again.2 points

Every now and then I identify as Nate, but I don't think Square Wheels appreciates that. So it's kept to a minimum.2 points

How is everyone? Life has been good but busy for Frank Calico Cat. I got a job as a soccer coaching assistant at Furman University last August. I used the money to get my own downtown condo. 99.8% of the resident cats are female, so your friend FCC was enjoying life. I met Clementine at the Reedy River Place Festival in late October. I wasn't really ready to commit to one cat but she's from a good family and has her own Sans Souci home on Clarendon avenue. Man it's sweet! Clementine We had a great Christmas. I surprised her with a ring on December 28 just to keep her guessing. We spent our honeymoon in East Durham New York. One word, fabulous. We returned home to Clarendon avenue and Sans Souci. I got another cushy job working for Clementine's father who owns Greenco beverage company. I am VP of all non-alcohol sales. Lastly, I'd like to introduce you to Frank Jr. FjrCC is only the second generation male calico cat born in Greenville in 36 years. Frank Jr. will be enrolled at Christ Church Episcopal elementary this fall. Hope this finds you all well, Frank Calico Cat2 points

There are nudists that claim the extra vitamin D from the sun protects them from skin cancer. They may have a point, I know one old guy who is 99, he's been a nudist all his life. His skin looks like leather but he's never had skin cancer.2 points
