I fixed my washing machine!! The part came today and I bought the socket set today. Managed to replace the lid switch and put the machine all back together again!! ?? The part cost me $10 and the tools cost me $15 and I now have a socket set in my collection ?

Yeah. I don't think I've been on the pass when it's closed. But 2 maybe 3 times they were chaining every car & truck. 2 years ago on one trip it was mayhem out there. I think they started chaining everything after I got up there. There was trucks in ditches, vans flipped over, cars trying to chain in the travel lane. I'm pretty flexible and try only to go over in the daytime. On the way out of Sisters we turned around & picked up a hitch hiker walking along the highway with a travel roller bag. It was just out of place enough that we had to do something. She had a couple miles to town & it was cold & blowing. Dropped her off & gave her a $20. My good deed for the day

Yes, the hay we buy is very green. We prefer 3rd cutting grass/alfalfa, but we are now feeding 2nd cutting. We buy from one family, and they know what we like. Neutered, both Lad and Duke had surgery during the last few weeks, Lad's to help clear up a kidney and bladder problem and Duke's, due to the fact he is a DM carrier, the condition that we lost Rusty to a while back. Duke's was planned, but Lad's was not. Both recovered quickly, and both currently have a clean bill of health. Pretty neat that Lad raised his paw to shake hands with his vet as he was leaving after his last visit.

We normally do not do anything for our Valentines day. But this year our University Alumni magazine published a contest where you could tell the story how you met at UNB. We have a pretty cute story so we wrote it up and sent it in with pictures and we won!. So we are getting to go out for a nice Valentines dinner on the Alumni.
