Nana had special visitors tonight.

That would have been smart. We did get them their own bed. Paulie just flipped the water bowl for fun. Ryan is doing warm up jumps.

On our way home we plan to stop in Rochester and leave Paulie with @Couch_Incident don’t tell him. It will be a drop and run gift.

They told their nana that they don’t wear pull up anymore. Now they wear big boy underwear. One is wearing Spider-Man underwear and the other one has PJ Masks underwear. Of course they both had to use nana’s Bathroom. Red wanted to stand and pee like daddy but her toilet was too high so he took his pants and underwear clear off and climbed up on the toilet to pee. Then he ran out to me with his clothes while his brother used the toilet.i helped him get dressed again. He can do it himself but sometimes he gets things on backwards.

I was napping in between feeding bottle lambs and checking for new ones. Was out at 4:00am after feeding two very persistent bottle lambs, and found a set of twin lambs. Since the temperature is -9F, I moved them into a small area with a heat lamp, came back and let the dogs out, and made a cup of coffee. I am drinking the coffee as I type, and will head out in a few minutes to check on the lambs. I may need to bring them in to warm by the heater vent in the kitchen. Hope everyone is having a nice morning. Mine has just begun.

So7 was late getting off work. Road trip began at 10:30. Made good time until Morgantown WV; that’s when the sleet started. Refueled at the Sheetz with 37 miles left in the tank. Lady gave me a free coffee and told me to be safe. I79 was crap all the way to Washington PA, sleet turned to snow which was good news as we had to stop at the bedbug Walmart to clear ice off the windshield . Conditions improved west of Wheeling but the sleet has started up again in Ohio. We’re waiting for a Cracker Barrel to open in two minutes to take a little break. Pic is from the bedbug Walmart. Apparently, the Zanesville Cracker Barrel doesn’t open until 7. Back on 70 to Pickerington, theirs opened at 6.

No worries, those are Canadian years.

Those twin buddies are amazing. As they were walking towards the hospital the red head said: “now this is a hospital with a lot of sick people so we have to be very quiet”. He remembered what he was told when he visited before. They are not even three years old yet. He kept reminding his dad that they need to pray for nana.

Or actually just food with Ralph. Got the OXO spiralizer and it works great! It does look a tad dangerous though with the blades, but at least they are nicely recessed. They say carrots need to be very thick, an inch and a half, but when used with a biggie but still only aboot one inch, it makes partial spirals which is fine. And here is something else good! Very tasty! Pretty sugary though, so eat sparingly.

I can't get enough of this. I mean, how is the guy staying upright? How does this work? It appears to be live and not time lapse. Then, my mind wandered and thought of what a wonderful thing it would be if this were human sized. Gives a whole new meaning to the hamster wheel plan.

You could be correct. I found the thruway to be very blackiceish on numerous occasions. On one, I came around a gentle corner to find the road completely blocked except in the very center of two cars spinning in opposite directions. One touch of the brakes demonstrated that as a failure option so I gently steered toward the center of the spinning cars to minimize the speed of the upcoming impact. By some odd chance they both spun in such a manner as to create a gap through which I went. I think it took about another quarter mile to stop and check to see if I needed to change my pants.

I'm wearing a colour that hasn't been recycled yet to be the next fashion colour yet. It's actually.....an "older" colour. Certain colours make me happy when I wear them close to my face: certain clear oranges/ peach, red.. A sister sent me a Christmas present. Another red scarf! 3rd scarf from her. She genuinely forgot what she gave last 2 times. This scarf was cotton, last one was wool and lst one was polyester light thing. And my sister has no idea that I like wearing red. She just bought the colour...because she likes red, is a happy colour..and honest, having black hair, red looks good near the face. Happy Chinese New Year,....soon.

Fairfax VA to Fairfield OH. 270-70-68-79-70-71. The alternative is the PA Turnpike and I’m not doing that, 68 is an easier route. The sleet didn’t start until we got on 79 in Morgantown. Sketchy all the way to Washington PA. Wipers were icing up and 45 was the top speed. In Washington it had turned to snow but west of there it went back to sleet. But we made it. Took 11 hours. We just finished moving and I’m beat.

I'm not good at math, or being honest with myself, but I got in the 90s.

No need to know, and knowing would probably not change a thing. Don't want my wife counting the chickens before the eggs hatch.

Good Morning....my trainer would jiggle the fat off of you in no time @Dottie "You want a tea party? I can give you a tea party...but you don't want a party...you don't pay me for a party" We are all gonna die..it is a fact..you want to die fat and sassy in your chair or you wanna wear out... Just a couple of things to note..exercise will help you sleep better! And you will age better (1 year or 40 years) if you exercise. The residents at my work...the ones who keep active..mostly walking..but also doing some of our classes...age..better...fewer falls, and in general...pretty healthy.

My alarm went off and I double checked that it is Saturday! It is. right? I haven't made that mistake in so long I can't remember if I ever did before ir was worth getting up for hearing about sheep herder falling asleep on the job. Darn occupational hazards! Good you can keep your sense oh humour through all this LJ!

Is that an e-semi-recumbent stationary bike? I’ve heard people get just as much workout on them as the non-electric ones. Plus some of them have more places you can hang your clothes.

Sheep herder would be here but as he was counting his sheep he fell asleep and hadn’t woke up yet.

I am in love with a life where I craft a lot of my own things. Food, soap, lotion, etc. There have been some disasters.
