I worry about my family. Counting my parents, aunts and uncles I have I think around 15 close family members over 75 years old. I do not think we will get through this with losing someone to this I worry about my kids, all are in their mid to late 20's and just starting out. As of today all three are still working but each of them and/or their respective partners will take financial hits because if this that at their age will take time to recover I worry about my wife who, for the last 14 months has been fighting a bizarre auto-immune malady that may leave her exposed. Everytime I sneeze or cough even a bit it comes to mind. Every time my phone rings I wonder before I answer it if I am being called in to be deployed somewhere It is a shitty time, and when I get home, truth be told, I try not to think about it4 points

If you decide to sell your house, make sure you don't leave any behind or they will assume that is evidence of an infestation that you lied about and not proof of prevention.4 points

How hard would it be to connect the two together? That seems the obvious choice.4 points

Your question implied (incorrectly) that I was invited to large gatherings prior to the current pandemic. i was socially distancing before it was cool.4 points

You should go. The food waste will be enormous, so if you bring a bunch of tupperware, you ought to be able to score lunches for a month!4 points

At the grocery, locking up my bike. In rolls the old Army guy who spent most of his career in Europe and loved every minute of it. During his tours, he picked up a love of cycling and continues to ride to this day. I suspect he is in his eighties and he rides an old 3 spd Schwinn with lots of sheet metal. We speak briefly when we see each other at the grocery. When he rolled up, I asked him,"You here for the toilet paper?" He says, "I'll take that." I said, "I bet you would." Meaning my toilet paper. He says, "Your cart." (Chuckle) He then says,"This is what we come to after a life of working for it. My wife survived the bombing in Europe during WWII." See you next time.4 points

First, there is not a well thought out solution, otherwise they would be doing it. Second, I ask the best questions in the place, great questions. Scientists are amazed at my ability to ask great questions. I am a super stable genius at questions, as everybody knows.4 points

No facts for this thread, how is this viral threat making you feel? If I get a little warm, I start thinking I have a fever and that tickle in my throat must be another symptom. I am very stressed about work. We don't have answers. We're making this up as we go. We will be judged on how we managed this crisis. I am not convinced this is not the end. 16k dead in 4 months, if this continues it may be over 100k by the end of the year. Or maybe far worse.3 points

Thank you for saying it in a much nicer way than I was going to.3 points

I don't see how we are going to prevent getting exposed to it, we can just try to slow it down so we don't all get it at once. I think the young people want to get it and get it over with while there are still medical people to help. I don't know where it will go but expect a long haul.3 points

I am losing sleep at night about our business. We are in a great position as things stand right now. That could change quickly. I have 15 employees that are counting on this thing holding together. It's my job, my investment, my retirement... I have also be blessed with great loyal employees and an strong leadership team. I have a feeling that this thing will not last as long as many think. The economy is another matter.3 points

I am not that worried because I am taking steps to protect myself and others. I am also not in situations that allow high degrees of hazard. When I look at the numbers and compare to historical situations of similar nature, I am not seeing a threat that exceeds expectations. Government response has been to 'flatten the curve' to ensure treatment capacity exists and at risk populations get a bit more protection. This is not the plague.3 points

It all starts out as bag milk. Once the farmers get it out of the bag it can be processed and put in any kind of container.3 points

I thought about this last night. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. We could rent some space in the Mexican prison system.3 points

"A Global jet airliner, en route from London to New York on an uneventful afternoon in the year 1961, but now reported overdue and missing, and by now, searched for on land, sea, and air by anguished human beings, fearful of what they'll find. But you and I know where she is. You and I know what's happened. So if some moment, any moment, you hear the sound of jet engines flying atop the overcast—engines that sound searching and lost—engines that sound desperate—shoot up a flare or do something. That would be Global 33 trying to get home—from The Twilight Zone."3 points

I have no opinion on cycling or other socks color. I guess my comment here is like the questions on Amazon where somebody asks, "What's the inside diameter?" and someone replies, "I don't know."3 points

Mostly because the city is inherently far different than the rest of the state. The current situation, however, has made me notice him quite a bit more than normal. Now that I am used to him, the NY governor is awesome at crisis leadership.2 points

15 miles, about 1600 ft of climbing around. Really taking it easy. Keeping the body strong, and exercising, but not too hard where I feel torn down. This is vital, IMHO. I think we should all think about that. Exercise, but safely and conscientiously.2 points
