  1. We had a big dog that never wanted to miss a ride. He got so excited when he saw me loading his trailer in the car.

  2. You ever see something trend thinking......so I'm going to post this. Celia was learning how to drive their sidecar with Wo46 as the monkey. It didn't take long and 20 guys were standing there with cellphones in hand filming. When the two sidecar chick's were driving through the pits people stopped doing what they were doing to take pictures.

  6. Early morning seems to be the best time for wifi here. Maybe not so many people trying to get on. anyway, The weather is great and looks good for the week. my wife’s sister and her husband are on the adjacent site and my step daughter and her family are here too. My wife lives for these family camping trips, and she is in heaven right now. Her brother and his family are coming up today as well but staying in a different park. Couldn’t book a site here.

  8. Blueberry Pancakes: the blueberries tended to sink in the mixing cup so more blueberries in the 2nd batch (3 on left) than 1st batch (3 on right). Add lite butter, Aunt Jemima Syrup and Jones Farm Pre-Cooked & nuked chicken sausage links (1/2 the Cal. but larger than Brown N Serve) and wash down with coffee. Yum!

  10. Yes. I went the honorable Cheese path. I fully reserve the notion to go the Parr8 path at some future time if more alcohol were consumed, though.

  18. Did she actually say she was a powerlifter???? Or was that just something you heard and in the "whisper down the lane" fashion, it was totally warped and not based on something totally different? I know friends or coworkers will mention to a newcomer that I am bike "racer", and I am always like "NO NO NO!" I ride bikes for fun! And they come back with "but don't you ride like a hundred miles some days???" and I say yes, but that's not RACING So, I could see some gal being set up on a blind date with me being made to think some pro cyclist was showing up and then seeing me and my hairy legs and wondering WTF?????

  19. The heat is getting toi them, maybe a couple days left. Starting to leave them for fall seed. But I did get this dinner in before they're done: gnocchi, peas, garlic parmesan cream sauce. The wife doesn't like proscuitto, so I had to improvise a bit

  20. I made blueberry pancakes as well. I use a lot more blueberries than Mickin. My pancakes are about half blueberries. I used fresh berries today. I didn’t take any pictures today. My wife didn’t ask for bacon so I didn’t make any. My wife eats hers with just butter. I put pure maple syrup on mine today because I ran out of local raw honey.

  21. Jsharr wears glasses, but he still has a nice head of hair. Dottles is grumpy as heck, but showed his mettle with a rocking trip into the wild recently. No effin' way it is DonKPOW! Maxx will take it the wrong way if I mention him, and there is an absolute ZERO percent chance it is LJ or sheepherder. TL;DR: Do you wear glasses?

  24. My wife wanted a roof over our pool deck when we had it built. I thought it was a dumb idea but it is nice. We get the early morning sun but before noon the deck is in the shade. We can stay on the deck in the rain and I can grill in the rein without getting wet.

  27. I have a story (I always have a story). I worked with a guy whose real name was Charlie Brown. He lived with his mom and dad about 45 minutes away from work. His mom would pack his lunch every day. He would get up at the last minute every day, no time for breakfast. Grab his lunch and head for work. He was hungry so he always ate his lunch on the way to work. If he wasn’t done with his lunch when he got to work he would punch in and take his lunch into the restroom and finish it while he sat on the crapper. To make matters worse he left the door open on the stall so he could talk to whoever came in the restroom while he was eating and crapping. True story.

  32. I am a 45 year old with multiple degrees. I still have to stop and think about my multiplication facts when it comes to sevens. If you ask me what 7x4 is, I have to do 7x2 is 14, 14x2 is 28, therefore, 7x4 = 28. You know what's worse than that? I double checked 7x4 on a calculator just to confirm that I was correct.

  38. We use natural gas in the valley and propane down south. Up until recently, we had a wood shake roof, so we did not install our wood stove. It is still sitting in the garage and has been since 1988. We heated with wood in both Texas and Oregon. I might add that what I saw for installations of the few wood stoves we saw when looking for houses did not impress us. One gets spoiled in the northwest where there are rules and regulations for safe operation of stoves and inserts. Our wood supply here is essentially pine and cottonwood. There is some green ash, but not enough to supply many winter's worth of heat. We had oak in Texas and pine and larch in Oregon. They delivered semi-loads of logs to our house in Oregon, as we had a large and long driveway.

  43. Took the missus on a nice 10 mile gravel trail ride on the MTB’s. There were a couple of sections she walked but all in all did really well. I’m glad I scored that Jamis HT. I thought it would be a commuter but it’s working out really well for my wife!
