Or for some of ya.. back to your 20’s and 30’s.. just found these three scripts while cleaning out my aunts apartment. to help pay off some of her bills, we are looking at getting them appraised. The red book is the last screenplay script from the show, also has signatures inside from the writers and producer. we have two copies of the 250th episode with cast and crew signatures on each. One is personalized and the other is just their signature.9 points

I still don't know how it happened but somehow I got Allen's phone number. So out of the blue, I decided to give him a call. Really glad I did. He's as nice as he seems.5 points

When I first started working construction, we didn't have a lot of money. We test drove an older truck in a large parking lot. It broke in half while we were driving it. The seller was an older guy, he was furious and insisted we did something. We were only going 10mph. We could barely breathe we were laughing so hard. It was a massive rust bucket.4 points

My cat sometimes sits at the door looking out the window. I open the door a little bit and ask him he wants to go out for a bit to cool off. He backs away from the door and says “No way, I’m a house cat now”.4 points

Cute story about a delivery driver whose car got stuck making a delivery during the early part of the storm. The couple to whom she was delivering groceries invited her in and are still letting her stay with them since her apartment didn't have power. Love when the good in people shows during bad times. As Mr Rogers's mother said "look for the helpers" https://abc7ny.com/weather/strangers-shelter-stranded-delivery-driver-for-days-during-winter-storms/10353603/4 points

This is still true today. Skinny tires with tread depth, lots of sipes, rubber that still flexes in the cold. This year was the first year my Subaru had all season tires rated for winter use, Michelin Crossclimate2. They are WAY better than the old all season tires. That said, I can still steer around a corner using the gas pedal on the snow. You can do that in a Subaru...4 points

So my 5 month old granddaughter was visiting last night with her parents. You know how difficult it can be to keep socks on babies. We’re sitting around the table playing dominoes. Her dad is holding her for a while. Then her mom is holding her. After a bit I’m holding her. I ask, “Where’s her socks?” They’re both missing and Rudy is sitting under the table. Her little socks disappeared. Rudy eat them.4 points

I knew that things would never go perfectly. I've never used a horse and buggy for transportation. The horse's heads are too tall, We needed a 9' foot seating. We need a ladder now to get up into the wagon. To minimize our carbon footprint we are only using 3 horses rather than 4. Less methane gas per mile.3 points

I’ve played that game before. It’s fun. I’ve also played, can you shot it with a .22? That’s fun too.3 points

Yep. It's not worth a lot, but it runs well and I know all the maintenance has been done. If I spend a grand or two fixing this I know what I have. If I spend 3 or 5 grand on an unknown, used something I might be in worse shape than I am now. And I like the car, so there is that.3 points

The rust is all on it's bottom, the top still looks good. Passing inspection and not breaking in half when I hit a bump are the issues.3 points

Not wanting to buy another car, any excuse will do. You just want more time to decide. Sounds like channeling Petite...just don't want to admit it.2 points

Funny story, the day we paddled there we had to park some distance from the lake, so I simply unloaded and threw the 17' canoe over my head and walked up through the parking lot, around the tour buses and down the trail 100' to a good put in spot. When I got to the waters edge, I put the canoe down and realized there were 8 or 9 people off of a tour bus following me taking pictures/videos. My wife came up and she was roaring laughing saying I looked like a mother duck and her ducklings going across the parking lot2 points

I had my riding buddy in my garage doing some work in his bike the other day. He walks up to my Bianchi with Campy Record & says, g’damn that is a nice looking bike. I stopped wrenching for a minute and looked up at it. Damn Campy stuff is sexy... But I’ll never buy Campy again... So not worth the up charge. But g’damn it’s sexy...2 points
