Married today.

I had a fasting blood test scheduled for this morning. The nurse was cool, first stick, no pain and cute. I was very fuzzy headed without my morning coffee and no food since 9pm last night. So............................ Off to Herman's Diner for breakfast. This is an old school diner, about 4 tables and a dozen seats at the counter. It's always been a greasy spoon where all the road crews go for breakfast once they are on the clock. The food however is as good as it gets if you eat this sort of food. 2 whole biscuits, sausage gravy (very good), 2 over easy eggs and home fries with coffee, lots of coffee.

So I’m hanging the master bath mirror. Wife wanted a framed mirror that matches the medicine cabinet. Measured the height of the medicine cabinet, then matched the height for the mirror. I then measured the drop & distance in from the edges of of the frame for the D rings mounted to the mirror. Double checked every measurement, perfect. Drilled the holes, inserted the molly bolts, hung the mirror and everything matched perfectly! Mirror is perfectly level too! Awesome! Oh wait, Houston we have a problem.... I didn’t factor the distance from the top of the frame to the top of the glass nor did I consider my height... So when I stand in front of the mirror all I can see is my nose down.... My wife wanted the tops of the medicine cabinet & mirror to line up which they do and she’s 4” shorter than me so it’s perfect for her. So I guess it’s perfect for me too...

This may be true for Swiss cheese you find packaged at the store, but I have had some very tasty Swiss cheese that I have bought at specialty stores. It is good enough to eat by itself with maybe a cracker or two. I love the nutty taste that is often found with a fine aged cheese. There are differences in cheese, just as there are differences in teas.

You sir, are as wrong as wrong could possibly be. The chicken sandwich at Snuffers Bar and Grill is made for swiss cheese. If you do not believe me, drag your incorrect ass to my house and I will take you there for a sandwich and some cheese fries and some beers.

I went for an exploratory ride after work. Narrow country roads that turned to gravel. The 25’s on my road bike down d fine but the 35’s on my other bike would be preferable.

I may take on a summer weekend job of flying one for demonstrations. No pay, just fun.

Swiss cheese exists so there is someplace to put the holes. It's good stuff and without it we would be up to our asses in holes.

I did my last colonoscopy without drugs. It was uncomfortable, to say the least, but I got to leave right after the procedure and I could drive myself home, instead of making my son take off from work to do it. That said, I don't think I will ever opt for the no drugs option again.

They are texturing this week. We got new concrete too. All the porches are poured now.

I have heard of it, but never had it. Now if it is breakfast, I could go for chicken fried steak and eggs, with hash browns and wheat toast. Black coffee
