I would scream as loudly as could, and then shriek "OMG I'm going to crash, we're all going to die!!!!!!" and then stop right in front of them breathing heavily and asking in a stunned voice "am I still alive?" while I gently pat my arms and legs as if checking for body parts.8 points

This is a young man my wife knew from judging Angora Goats at the Billings Fair. She later learned that he was now one of the better known square dance callers, here and elsewhere.7 points

Last photo with a long beard. We fished most of the day, leaving town at 7am and returning about 5pm. It is about a 2 hour drive to this lake. Mainly caught bluegills with most 9.5" long.We troll until we catch something, then troll back on the same area. If not getting bites we try other areas and might change lures and depths. Once we find a hot spot we mark it and troll over and around the area or others of similar depths. That is how we caught the 22 bluegills. Now I have more fish fillets to fry.6 points

Our mountain bike trip to Copper Harbor was awesome. Didn't get in any paddle boarding (cool temperatures) but did a 2 full days of mountain biking. Didn't crash but came close twice. Already planning on going back next year.5 points

Well I am visible for a couple seconds in a couple of the photos. It is a sled dog documentary done by a former member of our club. His family was very active in the past. When he planned the movie before covid he was planning to do much more live but covid forced him to do it as zoom interviews and video and pictures. I know about everyone who is in it. @Airehead and Einstein saw it when I was a guest in their home several months ago. It is now available for a short time on youtube and vimeo. It will also soon be on tv in Michigan. I think it gives a good picture of how much these dogs love running.5 points

Finally have all the components. New (used) brifters, rear derailleur, cassette, chain, both chain rings, handlebar tape, and cables. LBS is going to do a full groupset swap and disassemble the stem and check over the front again to double check. Parts cost = $135 LBS cost = $130 Turn around should be a week. Dropping her off after I workout today. Thank you @Razors Edge for giving me the needed boost to get her back up and running.5 points

Just placed an order for a new suit since the other one I have for an upcoming wedding is not all that useable anymore. I kind of grew a little I figured a nice 3 piece was in order since it is a fancy event. HOWEVER I was just informed that I am NOT allowed to wear my Dr. Martin shoes I was told I need black souled shoes for the occasion... Personally I have the darkest and blackest burnt out soul that will be at this event.. What more do they want from me... Ya cant dress up a hillbilly and expect perfect behavior!4 points

What Tadpole Kiddlehopper said. I stop and make them walk around me, maybe with the bike just a little angled so I take up most of my lane.4 points

Pine is wood, so are you asking if I get wood when I think of an old flame? Either way the answer is still no. There's a reason exes are exes...4 points

My keto diet regulars…. Fajita meat and onions and peppers on a salad instead of tortillas. Baked eggs in avocado halves. Egg, bacon, green chili, and cheese baked 12 at a time in muffin tins for a quick(er) breakfast. Grilled meat (beef short rib chunks) and veggie skewers. Rotisserie chicken from the store. Two of my favorite sides are roasted cauliflower (but the plate is white meat and white side…very boring) and cabbage sautéd in butter with onions and crushed chili. I’d make meatballs and spaghetti sauce, but eat it over green beans with a little mozzarella cheese broiled to melt on top instead of pasta. Lamb meatballs with mint yogurt sauce and a side of roasted carrots and parsnips. Whole berries? A friend with diabetes eats berries. Not sure about the glycemic load or the net carbs, but I ate them with breakfast on the keto diet with a bit of monk fruit sweetened whipped cream.4 points

Anything that doesn’t involve carbs so no crackers, pretzels & chips. Nuts are always good, things like pickles, olives, cheese & veggies is what I snack on.4 points

Yes. We are living in their basement. The running joke is that we are never leaving. Actually, my BFF has been happy to have me around. I help cook, clean and take care of the animals. Today, I have some groceries to pick up, I will make dinner and help with clean up.4 points

will be in British Columbia. I just bought a tiny bakery berry tart for friend's birthday when I get there..a blend of blueberry and saskatoon berries.4 points

The only difference order makes is texture. That is why you need bottom bun, patty, the ketchup, mustard, pickles, tomato and topped with lettuce then top bun. If you put the wet stuff next to the bun, the bun will get soggy and gross and it will feel like you have a mouthful of wet diaper. On a side note, bbq sauce is to be added to the meat while the paddy is starting to cook to flavour the meat, and should NEVER be added after the fact like a common condiment4 points

Mr. JSharr sent out a great care package up to the PNW. Not only did he send the coffee I requested (Also thank you Brandon!), he also threw in a nice coffee mug. You bet it's his company swag and self-promoting -- but I'm going to drink that liquid gold in it with pride. Thank you Sharr. Thank you Brandon. Thank you Texas -- and thank you FedEx. For an Internet group, you peeps sure are pretty nice.3 points

15 days of 24/7 cardiac data from the monitor (and a call literally every day about my low heart rate), he says the low 30s heart rate (occasionally during the day) is a concern. Says that it is time to be a proactive before it causes an issue which needs (urgently) correcting. Gonna get a pacemaker on the 28th. They'll set the base rate at 60 bpm & said that I'll feel like superman with almost twice as much blood flowing coursing thru my veins. I told Wo2 to get ready. Restrictions: no driving for 2 weeks, incision care/restrictions for 2 weeks, no lifting my left arm over shoulder high for 6 weeks. He didn't see any A-fib, so no more monitor. I forgot to ask about the Eliquis, so I submitted a question thru the portal. If you're gonna get old, ya better be tough.3 points

I am going to do grilled shrimp with sautéed spinach with lemon and herbs. I'll serve that with garlic asiago Cauliflower 'rice". Appetizer of cucumber slices with humus and sun-dried tomatoes on top, olives, nuts, cheese and maybe some cherries. Dessert-- a healthier cheesecake with fresh blueberries on top https://diabetesstrong.com/low-carb-cheesecake/3 points

One more thing: crushed pork rinds will sub for bread crumbs to make parmigiana. Oh, and mushroom caps stuffed with herbed goat cheese are yummy. I roast the mushrooms facing downward for ten minutes first because they’re watery. Then I stuff them with herbed goat cheese, sprinkle with sausage crumbles or bacon, and bake again for about 8 minutes. Same thing jalapeño peppers. Take all the seeds out.3 points

Most diabetics still eat carbs. Some eat way too many. Berries are among the best fruits for diabetics. I’ve got blueberries in my lunch today. Yumm.3 points

I don’t want to have a next trip. Yesterday I got out of my chair to go make lunch and by the time I got to the kitchen my vision was all blurry. I think that happens when my blood pressure is too low. I headed back to the living room to sit back down. I tripped on a gym bag and fell face first into a plastic waste basket I use for junk mail. I only bled a little bit. Owl be glad when I’m off beta blockers.3 points

Almost certainly I would be in a much worse shape now. While I'd like to see what happened to a few gals that I dated, I don't pine for any of them. I know that one got pregnant and never finished high school. Another weighs more than I do and I'm not that skinny plus I'm much taller.3 points

The ingredients aren't bad at all but it is pricey. My wife's oncologist wanted her to up her protein intake and I have two celiac daughters so it ticks a lot of boxes as a breakfast food.3 points

You could make your own. Call it ‘Bayonne Cologne’. Two Tblsp hot dog water (from the package they were packed in), one Tblsp water from an old yellow mustard bottle where the mustard has separated and one Tblsp garlic dill pickle juice. Shake well and apply liberally. Be sure to get a stain on your tank top for aroma staying power.3 points
