Yesterday, we took two loads in a 15 foot truck and plants and lamps in the mini-van. Today, we took 3 bedrooms of furniture and various boxes, etc in a 26 foot truck. The house they’re moving into is bigger, but there is less wall space because of a fireplace, sliding doors, and built-in shelving. Built in 1966, it still has a lot of the original mid-century features. I kind of like the sunken tub/shower in the master bathroom, but not the curtain. And they’re located on a golf course, which is so much more quiet than their previous apartment. It’s time for pizza.9 points

I tend to look after them a bit. If I asked a question, I'm interested in what people responded, and if I told a story, I generally check to see if anyone responded asking a question that I should answer. Plus if people responded to something I said that was personal, I usually want to respond or acknowledge it.5 points

No guarantees. We show favoritism which is indefensible and without logic.5 points

oops on the partial pizza pic but damn this was good. Similar to last time, white/wheat flour, thin crust. Cracker-like. Green pepper, ham, sliced pepperoni and a can of diced tomatoes w/ jalopeno4 points

I greatly appreciate your efforts. This would help. You could borrow one or go with @BR46's lovely wife to the shelter.4 points

Einstein and I support a school run by Christian Aid Ministry in Haiti . His parents requested we continue what they had done since 1981 as part of their estate. It is a very conservative group as far as church’s go. Mennonites, Amish and other anabaptist groups mostly, I think. I don’t support their views on everything but I definitely support their desire to help those that lack basics such as water, toilets, schooling and food. No one should be kidnapped doing good works.4 points

Solo 50, late start so man, it was windy. 16.0 average speed. Not bad considering I was doing 12.5 at times pushing hard. Mostly the trail and a bit along Pacific Coast Hwy. 13 MPH but trying to hide the tears in my eyes for the cam ha ha ha! The wind blew the fog and clouds away so the ships were nice and clear. Ran into an old forum buddy. Always like chatting with this guy. Of course he was telling me about a ride years ago when he rode along with us. Said he remembers being surprised that Gina was so fast. TBennett on cycling forums.4 points

No, but there is a built in hi-fi cabinet, the turntable is still there, and there are speakers in the master bedroom.4 points

No worries, once he gets close, I manually edit his points. I've been doing it for years, he hasn't noticed yet.3 points

Typically I’m not a huge fan of Harbor Freight… but I had to give the pneumatic spark plug cleaner a shot.. at $19 where could I really go wrong.. so the ‘28 Chevy has plugs that are hard to find, and at about $30 a plug (x4).. I’m gonna try out the $19 cleaner for sure. After pulling the plug it was covered in crud (official term!). about 3 min in the blaster it cleaned up nicely. It’s a lot more noticeable in person than in pictures. I’m sure it could use about another 5 min of blasting, but what a big difference. I’m betting that these dirty plugs are part of my problem with getting it started.. now it’s time to see if they actually spark.3 points

I finally worked up the energy to return the carburetor I bought for the generator that didn't fit. One day left on the 30 day return window. As God as my witness, I thought it was longer with Amazon. So when you take it back to Kohls they give you a $5 coupon with a week or two life, so of course that forced me to check oot the clearance rack (which those sneaky bastards moved BTW), so got a nice shirt for $4.50. Almost got a free one but an XL slim fit did not balance oot quite enough. Now I need to try another carburetor for the generator. I was joking with my brother who is sirius aboot buying an electric riding mower that an electric generator would be nice so you don;t have to worry about the carburetor plugging up!3 points
