A new bike....a Trek Domane 3. She wanted the Domane 4 but no one had any in stock.

He had his left eye removed. We knew this was an eventual possibility, and he'd had a bad few days. It was time.

At the LGS today we bumped into the parents of one of our sons good childhood friends. When asking about their son he said he had joined the Navy. Dad says, we told him he is too smart to join the Army or Marines and he didn’t want his son to be a shit kicker. Kids mom kinda sheepishly, uh Chris weren’t you in the service? Yup, I am a dumb shit kicker and proud of it! 😂. Mom winced but I winked when I said it. Dad apologized profusely but I told him it’s all good and he wasn’t completely wrong! Anyway it was cool to catch up with them, we used to hang out a lot when our boys were younger.

Mrs. Further has a strained muscle that went into a spasm last week. It will not relax and she has been in awful pain. Yesterday the Doc. prescribed Flexural for her, her sister warned her that there might be side effects. There are. She keeps hearing noises, doors opening, things rattling, music playing, and is jumpy as all hell. Didn't sleep at all last night and woke me several times to check on noises. The wildest was when she went to the bathroom and screamed about the water in the hallway, I ran out of the bedroom and assured her that the hall was dry, she swore there was water running down the hall, like a creek, ankle deep. The good news is that the muscle has relaxed, and hopefully will stay relaxed without any more drugs.

Lindy was 0/2. One second over time in one run and a handler error in the second. Ryan was 1/2. Lack of handler support in his first run which caused him to blow by a jump. Second run was good enough for a first place. Paulie was 0/4. I have no clue what is going on with him. He has been a super star in class. 6:59 and we are leaving Erie.

Yes technically I have but it was work related and for a couple of different religions. I remember once when work was utterly kicking my ass. I used to take my mom to church after her stroke but while she was still able to get around. One time at church when work was especially kicking my ass the sermon was especially uplifting that day and helped me come to the realization I could overcome the BS from work.

Delightfully uneventful

The morning was taken up with taking Eos to Mud Bay to weigh her. The lovely Sara with an H says she is looking "full figured". Yep....up about 1-2 lbs to 63. that's a good weight for her. Then picked up some small chuck it balls & another small Kong toy. Stella (Chi-wieenie) & Eos have been fighting/trading out the small chuckit balls. Then home & showered Eos. She got loose in the wetlands a couple days ago. Pretty smelly. She does well in the shower with the wand spray head. Then did some errands & dropped off 2 folding tables to my good friends. Then to Petsmart for a new collar & leash for eos. Her collar is pretty stained with sweat & dirt. Then watched college baseball. My beloved Oregon state Beavers were disinterested until the 9th inning. Down 7-1 they pull off a furious rally to tie at 7. Then Cal comes up to bat in B9th. 2nd pitch was a homer to walk off. Just made whiskey sours & relaxing now.

I eat when I'm hungry, that's probably wrong but I don't care

My neighbor and I went to a craft fair..and then Target for a few odds and ends...including a kong teddy bear for my friend Trude's new shepherd rescue who is 5 mos old....we also did lunch...finished up with laundry and 50 minutes on my treadmill.

Woke up at 6am, got a truckload of dirt, cleaned 90 five gallon buckets for planting in, moved grapes to larger containers (cut two 55 gal containers for planting), unloaded dirt, ran to lowes twice, power washed the patio, and just made it inside for the night.

Came to a decision to abandon any thought of building a competitive Outlaw class car after spending some time at one of my racer friends shop. The price on these cars has crept up to over $2000 + maintenance and breakage and they are demanding of testing time to the extreme. I sold my totally inadequate hot motor and throttle system and bought a pair of super coilover shocks to solve a sticking shock problem on the bracket car, Rain, sleet and hail made the day not so good for outdoor activities.

Slept in and drank coffee & chilled until 10 am. Did some errands around the house, walked Jack & then went to my daughters house to walk Smokey as they where out all day. Looked at some open houses, groceries & made dinner. Chilling on my comfy chair before we take Jack out for his evening walk.

I texted her to find out..but Kong stuff is tough..maybe 2 days

Flew home from Florida only to fly back tomorrow.

My daughter in law bought Banner a monkey that was reinforced with nylon rope so the dog wouldn’t be able to destroy it as fast. It lasted two minutes. I wish I had a Nancy adventure today. I worked on the closet today. When Nancy was on her way over here on Sunday I had an hour and ten minutes to make the house presentable. I loaded the dishwasher, picked up the living room, and stuffed all the laundry baskets of clean laundry in the closet that I had cleaned out everything that was on the floor. Today I was folding laundry. Nancy went to a basketball game in Wooster today.

It was good. After morning workout I went to the garage and made some engine parts on the lathe. Was a little disappointed in the rv show that we went to. After the rv show Wo46 and I stopped at the bicycle store and looked at some new bicycles. Now we are sitting at the bar having a Brisket sandwich. Life is good

If I knew how to clean out closets, they wouldn't fall down so often!

I biked to a big grocery store...again. Yesterday was my lst load. I haven't been to this store for last 4 wks., because of weather and other life things. Well, stupid me, forgot my bungie cords. So walked home with bike with huge pack of TP on handlebar and 2 fully loaded panniers. That was around 4 km. of walking..with a bike in my gear. Oh well, the day was warmish. After dropping off all groceries, I biked off in another direction for my 2nd shingles shot and ...more pharmacy shopping. Stopped by tea/coffee shop for semi-healthy cookie and chai latte. I'm going to take a nap /sleep soon...after reading newspaper.
