Going to a celebration of life for a former fellow employee at a previous employer. She was the one who used to organize our reunions, so now someone else will have to step up in that role. I expect to see some people I have not seen in a long time.5 points

Have to give some super muddy dogs baths. Rain the last 2 days have turned their play yards into mud. Then they decided they would like to try life as groundhogs. Beretta is very mad at me that she had to stay in the outdoor kennel over night and not come in our bedroom. Would you like to come give some huskies baths? They like baths and will make sure you get one too.5 points

Same as Mattea was much more likely to know O Canada than her competitors a few games ago. Some of it comes down to luck.4 points

Going to a Winnie the Pooh exhibit at a local garden. Unfortunately it's rainy today. The exhibit is inside the Conservatory which is good but I suspect we won't be walking around the other gardens. But we'll likely go to lunch, so that should be fun4 points

I wash my sleepwear in the shower. Then I put on clothes for the day. They may be shorts and a t-shirt or office wear; trousers, socks, belt, dress shoes, collared shirt, etc.3 points

If I don't put on clothes after getting up I'm going to be cold.3 points

Most of the time I sleep in my clothes, so I am ready to head outside when needed. Such is life with livestock and pets. 5 hours is a long period of sleep for me.3 points

She assumed Danielle would bet it all, so Mattea bet enough to exceed that amount by one dollar. But Danielle apparently figured that Mattea would bet that amount, so she bet just enough (by one dollar) to win if Mattea answered incorrectly, which is what happened. Danielle's bet doesn't really make sense to me. She could have bet much more and the outcome would have been the same. I guess she was trying to make sure she at least finished in second place. Because of Danielle's lower bet, Mattea could have won if she had bet any amount less than she did. But who knew? Danielle's bet was pretty unusual. The biggest problem was that the question was so biased for Danielle, who lives in Atlanta. Obviously, she would be much more likely to know the name of the Atlanta airport than someone from Canada.3 points

You think that because you live and play in a major modern city full of 'come from aways'. Once you leave the city limits of Calgary and Edmonton, there is a major shift in attitudes. A much more extreme shift than other provinces (which all have that rural vs urban swing).3 points

If we're talking caravans, I used to like them. Not so much as I got older. When I travel north snowmobiling, I'll pack, fill the tank and hook up the trailer the night before. Wake up at 4 am, my regular time, throw the last bits of luggage in the car, Mrs and the dogs can crawl sleepy eyed into the car, and we hit the road. We can be up there before 10 am with one gas stop, just in time for breakfast. So last February when we went up north snowmobiling, we met up with our son, DIL, and granddaughter for the ride up. I had fond memories from my childhood, of traveling north with several families, leaving before sunrise, watching the snowmo trailer lights ahead of us, etc, etc. But the new reality was, after our DIL slept in, then unnecessary delays and poor planning on their part, multiple stops for fuel, snacks and lunch, we didn't get up there until after 3 pm. Then I bit my lip when our DIL said she loved being there, but wished it didn't take all day to get up there.3 points
