The one the builder put in the house was a lower end model. The top rack broke. I could have spent a hundred or two fixing it (I already tried epoxy - it failed), but it would have just broken again in another year or two. We got a Bosch. It has some funky volcanic drying system that did not warp my water bottle. Plus, it has Wi-Fi; all dishwashers need Wi-Fi. yay

She's leaving from Memphis. It's a nice airport and closer to us. We're about 1.5 hours from Memphis and just over 2 from Nashville. Either way, it's a long round trip, especially since she needs to be there by 6.

The Monday ride was only 20 miles. One of the women had already ridden 70 before joining us. She wants to ride 100, 100-mile rides this year. Again, she should know better. I just got back from a solo ride, if you exclude the two dogs that chased me.

I do not like group rides, I've only done a few. It's been at least 5 years since my last one. There is a local group that does a no-drop ride on Mondays. My wife did one and loved it, she asked me to go. I went. There were only six of us. One lead, one was the sweep, my wife and I rode single file, then there were two women, both very experienced, who rode side by side the whole time. They even rode side by side when cars were trying to pass, and the sweep would yell, "Car back," and "Ride single file." I will not ride with them again. I am not the perfect cyclist in regard to cars, but I try my best to be courteous and not have them hate cyclists more than they already do.
