  1. Just the usual supermarket variety. Baby portabellas or cremini. I am not fancy.
  2. Does Oak make photovoltaic lenses? I would like to go riding in the dark and end in the sun and have my lenses change accordingly. Colored lenses makes this problematic. I end up wearing clear in these kind of conditions, or I have to find a safe way to carry extra lenses and swap on the trail.
  3. 5, but only two are in the regular rotation. The two in rotation are Oaks. I love my racing jackets. They look stupid on my small face, but they do protect my eyes. I hit my face a few weeks back. The glasses held up fine. My temple got clunked on a rock and I received a small black eye. The Oakleys are still intact. Impressive. I have two sets of racing jackets and I swap the lenses all the time. I wish I had 2 more so I could set one up clear, one for shade, one for heavy shade and one for rose.
  4. The fungus among us, being mushrooms. I eat these little nutrient powerhouses every morning. I make an omlette with them. Mushrooms are filling and provide me with selenium, potassium, vitamin D, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid. They are a low glycemic load and pack some protein and fiber in every bite. Mushrooms have nutrients that help the nervous system.
  5. My body seems to think that 11:30 pm is the time to pee. Every night I stagger half asleep into the bathroom. Luckily, I can do this in a partial sleep state and get right back to sleep when I lie back down.
  6. Hateful? Now, you are just being dramatic.
  7. I have three shock pumps. I am not ashamed.
  8. That is what happens when you don't exercise. You get porque.
  9. It is fantastic to turn out the lights at 9pm and sleep till 5. I wear myself out so much that I feel drugged right before I go to sleep. I love that feeling of total exhaustion as I drift off into rebuilding time.
  10. I am helping lead a ride for some college kids. I expect those boys will be gasping for air as I charge up the hill. It will be sort of funny to watch. I get to wear their Go Pro for the event. It is their annual bike and BBQ ride. Ride for a few hours and then eat my guts out. HAHA On Sunday, I plan to go out on my new cross bike and do some segment hunting. I love riding by myself sometimes. It allows me to ride fast and just listen to the evil voices in my head. At some point I have to cook, clean and do some BS chores. Biking is the priority though.
  11. I see so many people using credit to buy things they can not afford. They also buy and rent places that are beyond their affordability. I buy a lot of bike stuff, but I also save more than 30% of our yearly income. The way we afford this is to live in a very small home.
  12. Then, a lot of folks are living outside of their means. For the ones with families, they should not have had children, unless they could easily afford it and have a substantial emergency fund in place.
  13. Destitute with losing only 10% of income? IMHO, everyone should save at least that much every month.
  14. I think your back is getting cracked or adjusted. Like cracking your knuckles. It's gasses escaping. In all seriousness, you should cut back. That stuff is horrible for you. We don't want to see you break a hip.
  15. phosphoric acid is what you need to be concerned about. Sprite doesn't have it. It's the cola drinks.
  16. I was dressed all in black on a black bike. HAHA
