  1. But the whole " her wearing a diaper" thing is a little disturbing
  2. Can someone please explain the joke for my good friend ummmmm, Kevin.., yeah, Kevin. That is the real name of my for real friend who needs this explained to him while I am too busy to explain it. That Kevin, such a great guy
  3. There are cattle within a couple miles of my house
  4. Epic adventures are not 'fun', until it is over.
  5. Thanks! On my list for my next order
  6. I am from New Brunswick..., Canada's 'Maine'. I am well use to the bug situation out east. It would be tolerable.
  7. Time of life. This area was developed in the late 80s as the newest 'family' suberb. Those original homeowner who bought as young families with kids are now retired with grown kids and are downsizing or retiring and moving somewhere else. All the house sales around here now are refilling the neighbourhood with children
  8. Already happening with a large Asian population buying in our area, with a healthy Asian population and more affordable than the lower mainland
  9. I have houses for sale on my street. This graph is showing the frequency of googling the term "Move to Canada" during yesterday up to and including the debate...., which was near the end of the graph. C'mon up..., I could use some friends
  10. A Craig list....., I see what you did there
  11. As my University years were winding up, a good friend of mine and I were looking at doing and planning for the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, but he had to leave right away and with sickness in my family, the trip was scrapped. I have often thought about it and honestly dont think I have it in me anymore. We have often talked about me celebrating retirement with a 30 or 60 day canoe trip across the Arctic barrens, but with intense mosquito plagues there, my wife has told me she will meet me at the end. She is my fav bow paddler and I really dont want a trip without her. This however..., is certainly doable. I have some research to do. https://api.nationalgeographic.com/distribution/public/amp/travel/destinations/north-america/united-states/paddle-the-longest-inland-water-trail

Take time to heal. "Me time" is needed right now, do not feel guilty taking as much as you need. Just take care of yourself and get better

    Should I Go?

It is your sister. You should go. Eat the meal, tell her you love her and take the high road. But what do I know, my family all gets along.
  14. We lecture on this in our contaminated water lectures. They are crazy deadly, like as few as six amoebas can be fatal. As far as amoeba go, NF are bad ass
  15. 17 for me, plus two dives. And now I am fighting with my bike. Turns out it is not the saddle wear a hole in my shorts, but the clamp for the saddle rails to the bike. Files down the clamp and still picking my shorts, so I actually moved my saddle ahead 1/2" so the clamp is under a wide part of the saddle and now my seating position feels weird so I am tweaking the horizontal level of the saddle hoping to make it feel okay. I hate this.
  16. 17 miles to and from work, plus 2 plus hours of bottom time doing some training dives. I wanted a longer ride after work but didnt have it in me and with some deep dives tomorrow I did not want to push it today

    Ummmm, what? Any updates yet?
  18. You have 15 notifications! I feel popular when I have more than one
  19. One Christmas my kids got me an offical "Micheal Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meridith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-am Fun Run Race For The Cure" t shirt. It is one of my favs.
  20. Just for the record, I am laughing at the attachments, not your bleeding nipples
  21. This. Except I would be the driver, not the distraction.
  22. Your Tgiving is a much bigger deal to you than ours is for us. Still..., son will come over for the weekend and there is a good chance that D2 and her husband may drive down with my Grandson and stay a week or so to visit. Chistmas will just be us and my son, same as last year. Other than our 2 daughters living on the Prairies, and our son just across the Strait, the rest of both of our families are in Ontario or out East.
  23. D2 works as a butcher in a meat processing plant, a small business that caters to wild game during hunting season and small farms the rest of the year. Big commercial farms go more to major centres.
  24. I wonder if it was just another covid solution. This time last year if he needed to illustrate the issue maybe he uses two people in the office as examples, because everyone is at work..., but at this time he used his daughters because he is working from home?
