Ours is like that too.., makes a ton and doesn't taste the same when you cut it down, so we always make a big batch then freeze the leftovers in 2 person servings which make for a quick, easy meal on busy nights
  3. So sorry for your loss 2Far. I cannot imagine what you are going through. My condolences to you and your family.

I use ground beef, ground pork and ground chorizo, along with some smoked paprika and other spices, topped with Manchego cheese and green onions
  5. Good God, man, add a last name to your title. We have a couple Chris' on here. Not gonna lie, you scared me a little bit
  6. As the crow flies, I am about 1500' (400m) from the water. A couple hundred feet farther to walk to it. I am close enough to hear the sea lions barking when they swim down the coast. But I am 250' above sea level so I am one good Tsunami away from waterfront property
  7. I agree. It was well done. Apparently the final shootout was filmed at the actual location where it happened, which is kinda cool
  8. Been to Dildo..., my former boss was from there. He always said when he retired he was going to make dildos in Dildo. Got 44/50. I liked the Fredericton question, it often gets spelled wrong
  9. He could always fall asleep at rhe wheel out of boredom and crash. I mean last year he was driving laps at 150mph and almost crashed because he was watching the race on big screens, so who knows

    Saturday!

Next time you.come this way I will buy you a beer (or cocktail or mocktail)
  11. You are talking about Dan Kalla. I know him and he is related to my wife. We have dined together and he is very interesting guy to chat with. My guys look for dead bodies in zero visibility for a living .. lots have varied skill sets outside of work

    Saturday!

We are packing and setting up dive gear. Heading to the Caribbean Island of Curacao for two weeks. First week will be with my sister/husband, brother/wife and the last girl I 'kissed' before I met my wife and her husband, followed by a week of wife and I play diving. Looking forward to doing some diving (which is my passion, if you haven't noticed) that does not include dead bodies
  13. Just for the record, I showed my wife (the teacher) this whole post and she just said "He's a terrible speller" which I am going to take as "I know a large penis and he can still spell"
  14. Plus.... if a baby lived alone they would not be able to reach the stove to cook for themselves so they would starve in a few days anyway
  15. I have a button inside the garage to open it from the inside I can open it with my phone There is a button on the bottom of my rear view mirror in the car that opens it I have a numbered keypad outside the door when I am in the yard or on foot I carry a clicker cycling to work and back in my bike jersey I just wave my arms and say 'open sesame' (Not really but I figure most people have stopped reading my post by now)
  16. Doing what he does every day. Solving crimes and making tagliatelle
  17. I don't use the plastic bags, so produce goes into one of two drawers in the fridge. Quick eats sit on the counter on our apple tree. They get eaten a lot quicker being in plain sight. You can see it on the counter
  18. Screwed up my second guess, and not gonna lie, took me a long time to come up with guess three. I had to put it down and come back to it later
  19. Excluding my immediate family, I did not.
  20. I have not been in many pursuits where this would have been able to be applied but would be a good tool in the toolbox
  21. You are a bigger man than me.., doing a double-double letter guess on guess three
