  1. He built his own. It isn't that hard. Then he finishes it in my 2x8 ft King evaporator. The small one is a 2x4 ft.
  2. It was moving by it's own power?
  3. You should dream about train whistles. They are a lot more fun.
  4. So sorry Aire. I don't think I could do your job.
  5. 4 gallons of new syrup. The last 8 years we have a deal with some Amish neighbors. They use our cooker and we get syrup. Last year they added reverse osmosis so now they only have to do about 20% of the cooking they did before. The last 2 years they have made over 200 gallons. I still have our original smaller evaporator but haven't used it for a few years. When we made 200 gallons we had to cook 24 hours a day with both evaporators. RO has really cut the work down.
  6. Super intelligent person. I can tell you weren't born in Texas.
  7. He needs to find a good partner so he can ride the stoker seat on the tandem. (Make sure he doesn't have a fork)
  8. Weeds are starting to sprout in our flower beds. Do I need roundup?
  9. Poland Our friend TK is so famous he has a county in Indiana named after him.
  10. You rode a bike? I didn't think we were allowed to admit that here. This evidence can and will be held against you in the court of square wheels. For your sentence you must now post a music video.
  11. I thought you were from Poland. I'm sure my history book said you were from Poland.
  12. Gottleib's father was Christian, His grandfather was Christian, his brother was Christian. There are several more in the Beck family. They came over to Lancaster County PA. Several of them were very famous gunsmiths. Gottleib also had a son Christian.
  13. Must have been a common name. One of my great-great grandfathers names was Gottleib Beck from Basel, Switzerland.
  14. That sounds very nice. They did say they wanted to make it centrally located. I didn't think they meant centrally located between NYC and Tokyo. Does this elite compound have a 300 ft sod airstrip for me to land my plane?
  15. Since the you don't want to do the Hilly Hundred we could go to Southeast Ohio and do a gravel road century. The hills may even be bigger and the roads will NOT be paved. @Dirtyhip may even be able to do some Schralping.
  16. Earlier this afternoon when I was looking for a music book that my wife misplaced (she called it putting it away where it belonged) It belonged on the music stand not in a drawer.
  17. excuses, excuses, You just don't WANT to go and race in those temperatures.
  18. So you will do the Dog sled race instead? They only have about 10 more hours of racing for the leaders this year. My wife's cousin is the CEO of the Iditarod.
  19. I understand that. My great grandmother was from Basel Switzerland. They spoke German not French. My grandfather was 5 when they left. It was a lot later than your family left. My Mom's family left Switzerland about the time your family left France.
  20. Are you my cousin? My grandfather was born in Montbelaird, France. I have never been there but my parents have been there several times.
