Greetings folks. Its been a long time. My wife and I are looking to do another multi-day ride this summer and are considering the GRABAAWR in WI. Can anyone share what they know or heard about this ride and Bike Wisconsin, the outfit who puts it on? Thanks

Did a brisk (for me) 26 in the morning and also made it to Stillwater for the bike race which was enjoyable. I was probably standing right by you at some point.

For me it works best if I know it will fit. Sizes across a manufacturers line are fairly consistent. However a size 47 Giro may not be the same as a size 47 Bontrager. I've gotten good deals on ebay where the size does not work out and I turn around and sell them on Craigslist. I don't like returning because of the shipping costs. BTW, I wear a 47 and find some 47's to be too small. I've had good luck with Giro and Speacialized fitting.

Another reason to wish I could have wired my own house. After I installed my garage door and extended the circuit for some garage attic lights my GFCI in the garage started tripping occasionally. This a month after we moved in. Last weekend the GFCI would not reset. Naturally I suspected the garage door opener or my wiring, but after disconnecting all that it still wouldn't reset. I then started to unhook each outlet in turn downstream of the GFCI. Finally found the problem in an outlet box where the wires were not pushed to the back far enough and I suspect the ground was contacting one of the outlet terminals. Never had this problem at my old house that I wired myself before they changed the code. Grrrr.

Yes, it's something that has been described in detail to me and my hats off to folks who recognize and can control a problem.

I have a different outlook on drinking. I rarely have too much, but will usually have one beer a night. It's a daily input to My Fitness Pal.

Many get a 2" receiver on a vehicle that does not have Class 3 towing ability. I've got a 2" on a Honda CRV just to be able to have a sturdier bike rack.

Ha, problem is that I could never earn a living doing this type of work. I do perfect work, but it takes me forever.

I will be working on this house for years. We moved in with no trim, flooring or cabinets. We are doing that on our own. I enjoy doing the work as long as I do it at such a pace as not to get burned out. Flooring is prefinished Hickory.

Finished laying 450 ft2 of hardwood floor. Enough to host Easter dinner. ~150 ft2 more to go. I'm slowly getting conditioned for this work. First few sessions my back and legs would ache from all the bending over. Now I feel like I can go all day. Also got in a 23 miles windy ride on Saturday.

Bit of a sore throat here. Still hope to get in 20 miles tonight if it does not rain.

The first weekend seems to have the great games and upsets. I watched some of the NC and Kentucky games last night and quickly lost interest.
