Ok, so today, it really does feel like I am going to work.

This is green chili sauce made from puréed chilies, but I’d wanted to make chunky sauce with onions and tomatoes and chopped chilies. I didn’t have any tomatoes in the pantry, though.

This is good. I’m hoping mr will be amenable to loading up the bikes for a late afternoon ride today. We haven’t tried our new hitch bike rack on the CRV, yet.

mr and I had this conversation last night after watching a Twilight Zone episode in which the Earth had shifted orbit and was turning into frozen wasteland, but the protagonist had a feverish nightmare it was actually too comes to the sun and was burning up. My step-daughter’s late husband was a Jung scholar and would engage others in long conversation about the shadow self. At his memorial service, a good friend went into much detail about Carl Jung’s work as a deep interest of the deceased, who somewhat ironically could influence others and his students to success while drinking himself to death. After the friend finished speaking, mr and I mutually turned to each other and said at the same time, “worst eulogy ever.”

They’re beautiful! What do you bone with a boning knife? I can’t think of a time I’d wanted one. But i don’t buy bone-in meats or kill anything myself. -
These were delicious. And there were 13 tortillas in the package. We ate them all!

I liked it. Even though it’s violent and loud.

Very satisfying. She did great. I fried off the corn tortillas and pureed the chilies while she shredded the chicken. Then I grated cheese, minced onion, and walked her through the green chili sauce. She was surprised how easily the sauce comes together. I made shortcakes yesterday when MiL came over for brat supper. So, we also ate strawberry shortcake for dessert. mr was surprised that whipped heavy cream keeps overnight.

I haven’t tried music. Nature shows usually have monotonous narration, and that relaxes me. If I read, I’ll keep going even if I’m sleepy.
