  1. Yes, I saw the images, the ultrasound tech talked about them a bit, and I have a report I can access anytime in the healthcare app my HMO uses.
  2. Your heart and lungs are thankful. Walk a little, jog a little. It’s all movement.
  3. Episode 1 features sites in Northern Ireland. Episode 3 travels to the Jamesons distillery. Wow!
  4. Toss them before you hard boil some more! So you don’t toss them afterwards.
  5. I’ve been watching all kinds of shows and movies. This one popped up in Prime. It’s a lot of fun. We probably aren’t going to Northern Ireland, though.
  6. Or this word while reading “The Monkey’s Paw” during class.
  7. Got it. The kind who laugh when someone says Uranus.
  8. He said the kind that makes you heave when bad enough.
  9. The kind who laugh when someone says dongle.
  10. Three years ago I filled in as coach for the C level volleyball team in our Special Olympics delegation. I hadn’t taken the certification course or test for the credential, but none of the team’s coaches had. We are volunteers who were there in the time of need. Flash forward three years, and the delegation head says he’d like me to take the course and certify for volleyball so I can be the coach of the C level team. I agreed. I took the course. But I haven’t taken the test, yet. At our first practice yesterday, a long-time volunteer with the delegation is there with a friend who “is going to coach the team.” Now I’m twice as confused because the long-time volunteer has recently revived a delegation she had started in 1999 and let lapse. I’m wondering why she’s at our practice instead of her own delegation. And I’m wondering why she’s brought a person to coach. I think our head of delegation forgot he’d asked me to certify and coach. Oh, well.
  11. Peppermint tea can be soothing to an upset stomach.
  12. There was supposed to be an election. Now you’re in a squeeze: if you say something, you might get the presumptive “ok, you do it,” but if you don’t say something, the “clueless woman” presides over getting nothing done.
  13. How are you going to disrespect an 80 year old woman who never did a thing that it wasn’t for someone else? Bunch of miscreants…
  14. A little movement in the morning is a nice habit to fall into. It might stick after PT. I’ve been hit or miss with getting into the habit of drinking water first thing. There’s always something else needs to be done. It’s hard to put myself first. You have to put your shoulder recovery on priority status. So the rest of us can follow your lead. 💞
  15. It’s taco Tuesday here, as well. Chicken tacos for lunch. My plan today is a bike ride to the bird food store, start packing for our trip, take #2 walking somewhere and then he’s going to a movie with friends.
  16. That’s a quick win!
  17. @Ralphie, I’ve got a fever, and the cure is mark as solution.
  18. Aww…I was just riffing with you. Doubled down on the fictional Aunt Gertrude. But I haven’t even started on her equally fictional, soul-crusher of a niece who can’t stop nagging for five minutes about how you ride that bike of yours.
  19. I’m going with still active, then. How are you going to miss out on the extended family rally for poor old Auntie Gertrude, who never did a thing that wasn’t for someone else, by just taking a bike ride? Some people…
  20. Oddly specific for a hypothetical example… Is there a story here? Was Aunt Gertrude still active at 80, or was this the family rallying before she slipped away? I’m sorry to hear about your breakup, @Randomguy. My go-to for making sense out of changes is gratitude. Reciting a litany of thanks shifts my mood and focuses my energy on what’s real. As a single adult I had more control over my lifestyle.
