mr and I were just talking about how people fill their garage with stuff and then their cars sit outside deteriorating in the weather. I mean, come on? How are you going to spend all that money in a house with a garage and then use it to shelter boxes of second-hand stuff, old furniture, inert nuclear weapons, tools that maybe used to operate, several projects you’ll maybe get to, and let your car bake in the sun?

To be fair, there are a lot of laugh till we cry songs. A lot of heartbreak songs. A lot of personally meaningful songs.
And I’ve always enjoyed a good sad. It’s not for everyone. I found out on Weds that my great uncle Donnie died in a car accident early that morning. Tuesday night he’d gone to the store. Police found his car one town over in a ditch at 11 am on Weds. ETD was 3 am. Of my abuelo’s 11 siblings, only one survives…the youngest, Helen. So, I think about sad when the time comes to feel sad.
