In the wild I've seen deer, rabbits, hawks, bald eagles, wild turkeys, fox, coyotes, porpoise, seals, moose, raccoons, skunks, opossum, 3 colors of squirrel, chipmunks and a lot of various suburban birds. I've seen an endless line fox bats flying over head. I'd like to see big horned sheep, mountain goat, bison, whale (any kind), a bear, and a llama.

Lucy and I just came back from our walk. I took her leash off after we were in the backyard and went to the trash area to throw her shit away. I then turned around and Lucy was nowhere to be seen. I checked the gate and it was closed. I peeked around the garage and she wasn't there. Ii walked past the sun porch and there she was near the dryer vent. Her head was down so I figured she was eating grass. OK, dogs do that and the grass is longer there. Then I saw her paw the ground. I walked on over and noticed a cicle of leaves and fur. In the middle of the circle was a hole and in it there were some little fuzzy baby somethings, which I guess are bunnies. Before you say, "awww, how sweet", this is where we like to let Lucy run free. She can't be trusted to run free where she knows there are baby bunnies. So now she can't run free and she'll need to be leashed for bathroom breaks until the bunnies have moved on. It is just going to be a PIA.
