The last 5 miles were especially bad and I don't have any photos of it.  Knowing what I know now, I'd go with tires wider than 35s.

Fall City.

Most of it was between 25-55.  The worst for traffic and speed is the 13 miles from Redmond to Fall City.  I'd say about the first 9 of that are busy with traffic and they're zipping through there at 55.  But then you get out into the rural valleys and it's pretty sweet.

Well, it's in play.  The wife and I are returning to the scene of the crime in the first week of August.  This time we are going to ride the surrounding trails around it.  The Spokane to Couer d'Alene trail is 40+ miles long and the scenic Haiwatha isn't about distance.  I'll try to get gobs of pics.
