    And now I wait

Didn't you do that last year, and found out (or remembered) just before the race?
  2. 40 years ago when we were younger... that all would be steel an it would most likely could be fixed with no new parts. Now... OMG @maddmaxx I'm betting on at least 2K to get this fixed.
  3. It makes me wonder... how a software update will stop a fire? Someone wrote the original code and had 2 motors on at the same time fighting each other? I miss our old Maytag washer and drier. I could fix those, and did only a few times over 30 years. No electronics in those old machines.
  4. Yeah... but it is a good list.
  5. We still have LOTS of boxes in our basement from our move to our home. 4 years ago. 90% (or more) is WoBG's stuff that she just could not get ride of when we moved. All of my spare bike parts (chains, cogs, tubes, bar tape, etc...) is in one box. I have 2 boxes of personal stuff I had at work. I probably should get ride of most the stuff. 1 box of computer cables, and old router, an old scanner, etc... lots of old software. I should recycle the electronics. 1 box of cables, etc... for A/V and stereo equipment. In several boxes, my old Apple 2E computer (soon to be 40 years old), the monitor, floppy drives, 2 printers, (dot matrix and electronic typewriter with a RS232 port), and all of the software. One box of vintage camera equipment. A few boxes of vacation, hiking, camping stuff. Our last home had a walkout basement. Most it it was living space. our kitchen, dining room and family room. We had maybe 100 sqft of unfurnished basement that was FULL of stuff. (furnace, water heater, water softener, well pressure tank, water fliters, , I LOVE the basement we have now. ALL crap we store down there... And in case of storms, we have a place to hide.
  6. Yes. If I wasn't... I'd work to change whatever needed to be changed.
  7. This... WoBG's car is on a battery tender too. She hasn't driven the car in the snow or salt in many years. It snows just often enough to let the car remain in the garage. We had some snow today. Maybe... 1/2 inch. The ground is so warm, all the snow melted on the driveway. No need to even use a shovel.
  8. This.... Like would notice the price on maybe 100 items when they are being scanned. And who knows if the price in the computer is correct for every item?
  9. Or... maybe he already did?
  10. That just means it may freeze again now, over night. Last year... I thought the driveway was wet. Nope... black ice. I fell over, and my left elbow stopped the fall. That hurt like hell for 2 days. Needed a sling for those 2 days. About a month later, I was much better.
  11. Last week.... this was good... https://www.uptowngrill.com/menupage
  12. We still have a jar of these. Maybe tomorrow....
  13. It's here in IL. The town is called Utica by everyone here. It's actual name is North Utica. There is NO other Utica anywhere close to here.
  14. Yeah I just noticed that too.
  15. Yesterday we had this for lunch... Craft beer. I had a buttermilk brined chicken sandwich with cajun potato salad and our appetizer was beer battered mushrooms. WoBG had grilled fromage and cheese curds. (yeah she likes cheese)
  16. And of course hamburgers on the grill too.
  17. Yeah... this was a good idea.
  18. Baked potatoes and corn on the cob on the grill in the summer.
