  1. Cheese..the real thing

I have really been digging the 'unexpected cheddar' at Trader Joe's, you should go there and get that. So good, it is perfect for your eggy scrambles. Seriously, do it. This advice is the equivalent of you telling someone to get that good oolong. Don't ignore this recommendation.
  2. lease is signed

Couch is unownable and must be free! All my furniture is being or has already been destroyed by neglect of FeRW.
  3. lease is signed

I am hoping for a private entrance so I can bring eastern European hookers in unnoticed.
  4. The dangers of being a pig..

Pigs are food, although pets are different since they are so socialized as such. I wonder if "forever home" was a phrase that got yammered back and forth a hundred times during the adoption process?
  5. Are you a racist? Of course. Take the test.

I dig white people, according to this racist test. I should take it again when I am not dog-tired.
  6. Millennials ??

If you are a human and aren't tired of working for someone else, there is something seriously wrong with you.
  7. What is inside your can of tomatoes?

Whole peeled. The starting point for many a marinara, these come in puree or juice. San Marzano. A specific variety of plum tomato grown in Italy's Argo Sarnese-Nocerino region, near Mount Vesuvius, often hailed as superior in flavor and texture than the rest and ideal for sauce. True San Marzanos are protected and regulated under Italian law and will have a D.O.P. seal denoting this. Check the labels; some might say "San Marzano-style," which isn't the same. Diced. These are firm—and stay firm—during cooking. Good for long-simmered dishes where you want distinct tomato pieces. Crushed. Crushed to a fine texture and often mixed with a little tomato puree, but still chunkier and less cooked-tasting than sauce. Puree. Pureed tomatoes that fall somewhere between crushed and paste—smoother, thicker and deeper in flavor than crushed, but not nearly as concentrated as paste. Stewed. Whole or diced tomatoes cooked with seasonings and often sugar and thus even softer than regular whole peeled. Some cooks might appreciate the pre-seasoned flavor and stewed texture, others not so much. Sauce. Pureed tomatoes with added seasonings and sometimes water. Good as a base for soups, stews, casseroles. Paste. The most concentrated form made by cooking down tomatoes and evaporating the liquid. A dab deepens the flavor of all sorts of dishes. STORAGE OPTIONS Transfer any leftovers from an opened can to an airtight storage container. They'll keep refrigerated for about a week.
  8. Fergies anthem

    Oh god, that was atrocious.
  9. Fergies anthem

Whoever sang it at the superbowl did a respectable mostly not fucked up job, if that is who you are talking about. That is high praise these days. Otherwise, I missed it.
  10. WTF, chronicles from the ER

This important question has not been answered yet! Glad you are mostly ok from the fall, the lump is probably nothing.
  11. Fergies anthem

    Wtf are you talking about?
  12. There is so much to like about people who speak sense in a confused world

They should have known that they were just renting them for a few years, and they also could have just gotten one closer to their own age (provided they had gone to good wife school).
  13. Some prospects for RG

She worked out her whole life to be ready for me.
  14. Hope you had a good Sunday....

Was there a secret stash of gold doubloons up there, or a decaying body at least?
