There’s a billboard I see on my way to work for some.....Lincoln?.....SUV. The background is black, the car is shiny black and there’s a woman in a bright orange dress, leaning on the SUV. Now, Ok, they got my attention - attractive woman, in a bright dress that just pops out of the picture.... But what’s she doing? Is she standing next to the SUV? Is she opening the door? No, she’s draped on the front fender. So am I to understand that they think I’m so shallow and stupid that I think if I buy said SUV some trollop will sprawl on my fender - and it won’t be attempted insurance fraud? This doesn’t make me want one of their cars. In fact it annoys me. This is how NOT to advertise.
