So a good chance she is not asymptomatic but negative?
That’s the hope. She dodged the bullet.

Is glass even a thing with glasses anymore? I got new glasses a few months ago that are pretty similar. As I rarely wear them outside I didn’t bother with transitions but paid extra for the extra thin lenses. They did etch a small RB in the upper right corner of the lense but I can’t see them.
You have to pay extra for glass and you have to wait a week or more for them to come back from the grinder.

I’m hard on my lenses. Plastic is not durable enough for me. One good scratch and they are done for for me.
I’ve been loyal to Ray-Ban for frames for a long time too. They usually last me 10+ years. -

Did your sister test positive?
She never got tested. I admonished her for that but can’t force her to go.
Wednesday will be two weeks from her exposure. She and her friend spent the day together. Five days later her friend got sick.

BREAKING: An 11-county region of Northeast Georgia including Walton is down to seven critical care beds out of a capacity of 70. Georgia saw 599 people hospitalized from COVID-19 in the past day.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Walton County was 538 on Saturday afternoon, July 11 (+11 from Friday). There had been 29 deaths (+1) and 70 hospitalizations (+2).
The Walton Tribune posted the above on Facebook. I can’t find their source. There was no follow up article in the paper.
North East Georgia is pretty rural. I’m 50-60 miles from Atlanta. The northern counties are easily a hundred miles away. -
I have a jar of lighting bugs picking in tequila in my fridge atm.

I'd love to hear from someone like @Prophet Zacharia if 70 "critical care" beds is a normal amount for a county of 95,000 people. That seems pretty darn few, but my county is over 10x that size, so hard to compare.
Seems still having 10% capacity (of normal) during the height of the outbreak isn't awful (yet), so maybe you guys won't hit or exceed the 70 beds.
That’s 70 ICU beds for 11 counties I think. Walton only has one hospital with 77 beds total.

Plain, toasted, cream cheese, and a slice of tomato with salt and pepper.
If I have access to lox, that’s going on my bagel in lieu of the tomato.

Ah got it. The Mojave gets hot too but I don’t think it’s as dry as Vegas & AZ. Disneyland is about 20 miles north of me!
She grew up in San Diego and was living in Carlsbad when we dated. I applaud your ability to handle the crowds. I get claustrophobic with that many people around. Navigating was kinda confusing too the way the towns are stacked on top of one another. You are supposed to have cows and such between towns so you can tell where one stops and the next one starts.

If I may ask... Of all the places in CA to visit, why the hell Salton Sea!?!!
I was dating a woman in San Diego. Told her I had never seen the desert before and that’s where we drove.
I also wanted to go to Tijuana just for lunch or something, enough to say I had stepped into Mexico. She wasn’t having it. We went to Disney Land instead.- 1

Have you ever spent any time in AZ or say Vegas? I tolerate 110 & dry much better than 90 degrees 90% humidity.
The Salton Sea and area near San Diego has been my only exposure to the desert. I wasn’t wild about it. I like living in a forest under the trees.

I couldn’t do 120°. We get 90 days of 90+. But days over 102° are rare.

He doesn't want to part with his beard.
I think his beard looks handsome on him and it's part of his signature for past few decades. He also has a small head ...and so beard removal would make his head even smaller since he is bald at top. We know this...differences when he and I try same hat, helmet, etc.
More often than not I’m clean shaven. My beard is pure white but the rest of my head is not. I think it is a weird looking contrast so a three day stubble is about as long as it usually goes.

Dearie was unable to get his beard trimmed by barber because of covid restrictions.
So he tries to trim it...lightly. Hopefully he avoids mistaken big chunks carved out.
Mine was not as impressive as John’s but was as long as I have ever let mine grow.
I took my straight razor to it and went back to bare skin.- 1

I shaved my beard the other day.
But I’ve found myself wearing my hat inside because it keeps my hair out of my face. I can’t stand it anymore, it’s gotta go. -
I’m getting my hair cut Tuesday. First time since January.
The lady who cuts my hair has her own room, so it will be just the two of us.- 2
