  1. As the Beatles were to the Stones? They were the two bands at the head of a giant transformation in music. The Beatles and Stones were the biggest players in the British Invasion of the 1960’s, just as the Grunge and birth of Alternative Rock replaced the dinosaurs of the 70’s and 80’s was lead by Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Both the Beatles and Nirvana may have burned brighter, but burned out much faster than their rivals, who have kept at the recording and touring game for much longer.
  2. Top 5, but I’d say with the Beatles, Stones and the Who ahead of them. I get a little bored with Zeppelin, and I don’t know if it’s because of their song structure or feeling it’s been overplayed, or both? But I generally like them.
  3. That’s my wife’s method. I bought a luggage scale to help her realize what a 50 lbs suitcase really feels like.

  5. He just likes to break things in half.
  6. Maybe you can get a spork so that all of your eating is similarly effortless.
  7. Three things you should never break in half.
  8. I guess if it were twice as long I would break it in half. Or just keep buying what I have been and not need to fret it.
  9. I think longer pasta is easier to get/keep on a fork. So no, I don’t break my spaghetti/linguine or Angle Hair noodles.
  10. Don’t you type on a keyboard as your work?
  11. Glad this housing crisis has ended. Will it reoccur next year, or will you be good until your next large raise?
  12. I got lucky and got to see lava pouring into the sea in 2016. Also, the after effects of the seams erupting a few years later.
  13. Yes. Deadlines motivate me. The closer I am to them, the more focused I find myself.
  14. Today I learned “COVID” isn’t in Wordle’s word list.
  15. They work for Yahoo and NBS sports, not a local PGH affiliate
  16. Have you ever heard of these guys? I’d give our beat reporters some respect if they were reporting things, but these are National guys but total no-names, as far as I know.
  17. And yet any of them would play on any other team for the right $. They’ll be all hugs and embraces after each game played this year, regardless of who wins or loses. It’s just a business, after all.
  18. Only in Milwaukee. A whole fried chicken.
