    The tournament runs Monday-Sunday this week, unless there is a tie on Sunday for the lead, then it goes to sudden death playoff starting Monday until a winner is determined. Those were the terms at the start of the week, I think we should continue as such. That I don’t know if I can hold people off another 11 days is immaterial! I believe a missed day should be +3, just like you guess without success. It wouldn’t be fair to someone who got a 5 or a 6 that day to allow a non-player a par score. And yea, I do believe they get more difficult as the week goes on.

    The trick is the vowel placement. I avoided “EA” on guess two, opting for Valet over my initial thought of Beach. Wordle bot wanted me to play “petal”, which makes no sense to me as it would not have identified the vowel positions. Bird, -3.

    Yup, the bridge in the OP is the far one in this, closest to the dark train bridge in the background, with the convention center just before that on the right.

    I think there is a ladder inside the pier, if my bridge nomenclature is correct. They are refurbing that bridge, putting LED lights on it. That’s why you see the canvas on the pier at the bottom portion of the picture.

    Similar. That is the Roberto Clemente bridge, the first of the “three sisters” bridges. The 9th Street bridge is upriver from that, with the 7th Street bridge in between. But they may be identical, if not, VERY similar.
