  1. I grew up in the PA town just south of there. I always knew that as I-95 as well. And there was no toll when I moved away… 30 years ago. I’d quite Ray and say “about $100”. But Uncle Google is more accurate.
  2. I’ve been at my position for 20 years. I wouldn’t downgrade my vacation time for a lateral move, and for a promotion I’d expect the same or more time off. 🤷‍♂️
  3. What is your time off? I wouldn’t take a job without 5 weeks off, to be honest. If my wife was lower than that it would be ok, but otherwise no.
  4. I expected a shitty showing from Mason. But I expected more from Goff. What a terrible game. I don’t think the tie really hurts the Steelers, their future is dependent on wins against the Ravens and Bengals alone. But it doesn’t bode well for them, even though they were without Ben.
  5. I would assume that avoidance of scissoring with 2 very large men would be universally applauded. But you were right to specifically get RG’s opinion, too.
  6. Us too. I’ll have to blow out the back yard again next weekend, but the heavy raking may be over? We have the luxury of curbside leaf pickup. Only on Fridays, but hopefully the pile will stay in place until then.
  7. I cleared my yard of leaves today. If that is the last time I have to do it this fall, that would be amazing.
  8. My father died at age 45. For 29 years, I assumed the same would be true for me as well. But by that math, I’m coming up on the start of bonus year 6 soon.
  9. I’d prefer an outdoor venue. I just saw the Stones, I’d love to see a Pink Floyd reunion. I have Nick Mason tickets in January. Obviously indoors, but theater policy is vaccinated and mask mandatory.
  10. Bite your you tongue. Kirby’s poll numbers would never dip.
  11. Not really claimed to be, yet it’s what we all expected. No cholesterol though… but a lot of sodium.
  12. The love of a pet is very pure. Their passing is crushing. I have a 20 year old cat, and an 11 year old dog. I dread the day they won’t be part of my life. But we have two 4 year old cats that are great, and I believe they’ll be even more loving when the competition lessens. I’ll be open to more pets in the future, but I have to figure out what my living situation will be in retirement.
  13. I went to my nephew’s hockey tournament in Cleveland. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed U16 hockey.
  14. I’m awaiting the last report of the workday, when it arrives I will complete it. But they/them who will send it to me haven’t completed their portions.
  15. I can’t, gotta work tomorrow. Apparently my boss went to the same business school as @Kzoo.
  16. I didn’t, either. @Road Runner, was there an explanation as to how that factoid is known? Are there identifiers in the painting itself?
  17. I agree, I think it’s mostly millennials or even younger generations doing it. And understand that seniors may have no clue about why such a thing happens, but maybe it’s good they’re not on company emails anymore.
  18. I think football is best watched on TV. It’s fun being at a game, but for actually watching the action, it’s not really comparable.
  19. This. I don’t include pronouns in my email signature, but lot of my younger work colleagues do, regardless of their identity. I think it’s a supportive thing they do for their peers. I find it helpful on occasions, neutral at worst.
