  1. I found it enjoyable, but with a limited weather window.
  2. Honestly? I try to assess what I am doing, and update my decision making upon available data. This causes mild problems at work when directives interfere with my one assessment of what’s proper. Although I enjoy enough freedom to do whatever I think is best at the end of the day.
  3. 2-2 after 2 in game 2. Entertaining hockey, despite Binnington’s softies.
  4. I probably won’t even need a hotel room, as my flight leaves at 6 am on Sunday. #winning!
  5. I realize it’s insane, but glad it’s “feasible”.
  6. My tickets are still valid, and I bought from a broker so a refund would be difficult and not recover all costs. So... the crazy story is I am going to the outer banks the day after the make-up show is scheduled. So I am dropping my kids and dog at my sister’s, driving to Norfolk, flying to Denver for the show, then flying back to Norfolk the next morning. Will be in the OBX before dinner on our first beach day. My sister will bring my kids and dog to the beach.
  7. A) It’s the Stones. I drove to both Detroit and Buffalo to see them. B.) It’s Denver C) It was a three day weekend D) I’d have otherwise been in Erie
  8. It was beautiful while we were there. I was tempted to try the Switzerland trail, but feared it would be a muddy mess. The lower altitudes were the safer bet.
  9. Did I mention that Southwest now flys to Hawaii? ?
  10. What’s not to like about the Stones? I saw three shows during their last US Tour. I think it was their best performances since the 1972 tour (not that I was there, but I’ve heard the discs). They’re sober, and not promoting some crap album. Would see any time. And happy for my Southwest companion pass this year, all flights my wife takes with me are FREE.
  11. I did Red Rocks trail one day, and Clear Creek trial in Golden the other. Both were nice, and perfect for our time limits. Went to a Rockies game on Saturday night. Ate Mexican food for almost every meal. A nice trip. Will be back in August for 14 hours for the Stones show.

  19. Actually, it's not that bad in a car. Pittsburgh drivers are fairly accomodating of merging traffic. I know which lanes move fastest and hop between them when crossing our bridges at rush hour. It's a bit like playing the game of frogger, but not terrible. If you don't know the traffic patterns, rush hour can be annoyingly slow, although still way better than most metro areas I have driven.
  20. I’ve heard other people say this, but I don’t get it. With the awareness that you’re driving on a triangle, with two basic routes up and down the two rivers, and an awareness of the topography that makes cutting across difficult, it’s not that hard. I imagine I’d think differently driving a semi across town, though.
  21. My flight from Denver last night was delayed two hours due to tornado warnings. Saw a lot of lighting on the flight home.
  22. Yeah, but anything you find on Liberty Ave is MUCH safer than what you’ll find on the North Side surrounding AGH. Best wishes for a negative biopsy result.
  23. The moose/squirrel combo is the worst.
