    I meant SW. Maybe "main mod" isn't the correct term, but he's been very involved (as is his right) in squelching inappropriate behavior, so I do consider him a moderator in that sense.

    Yes they have. And yes, the series probably ends tomorrow. TML haven't won a playoff series since 2002. Since then it's been a lockout, 10 years without qualifying, and two first round losses, likely going on 3.

    Toronto fails to take advantage of Bergeron’s injury absence, fall to Boston and into a 3-1 deficit, going back to Boston. Colubus lays an egg, letting Washington back into the series, 2-2 now. Unfortunately for the Caps they have to go back home for game 5.

I guess the Flyer fans are correct when they chant he sucks. I wondered for a moment how Andy MacDonald is a “0” for the series, but the answer is right in the question.

    VGKs sweep the Kings. 2 shut outs for Fleury, 0.97-something save %. Nice work. Winnipeg take commanding 3-1 series lead. Caps survive implosion with 2OT win to claw back to 1-2. Crosby needs 1 point to pass Peter Forsberg and tie Lemieux at 17th all time playoff points. He’s currently 14 points behind Yzerman at 10th all time in playoff scoring. Couturier a game time decision for the Flyers.

    I don't necessarily agree. I think Toronto, TBL, Bruins or the Pens could survive the East. While I like Boston to win this round, Toronto could definitely beat Tampa if they find a way to come back. And the NJD want to have something to say about Tampa making it to round 2, anyway.

    I like Wallander. And Broadchurch. The Break is good, if you don’t mind subtitles or your French is good. Friends at work today recommended The Man in the High Castle, but I haven’t watched any to comment on it.

    Did Grubauer play poorly? I only saw the third period and OT. When I asked my sister why Holtby came in for the 3rd period, all I could get from her was “we needed to shake things up”. This is the same Trotz panic move that he did when he pulled Holtby in Game 2 against the Pens last year. No wonder that team has zero confidence in the playoffs. They don’t even want to make it to round two to bow out this year.

    My pick of LA Kings over VGK is the flaw in my bracket thus far. Although I said in 7 games, so there is “hope”, but the Knights have refound their fire, and keep winning 2OT games. VGK lead 3 games to none.* Wild survive a spring blizzard and beat the Jets 5-2 to make that series 2-1. * My sources now tell me Vegas’ game three win WASN’T an OT game, but instead just played in LA, giving the same effect for eastern time zone fans.

    Weird. I updated this thread yesterday, but apparently it didn’t accept a post that said the Penguins lost to the Flyers on Friday night. It’s ok, it’s now a series. Game 3 this afternoon, in Philly. Also from Friday night, 2OT win for the VGK and the Jets also took a 2-0 series lead over the Wild. Last night, the TBL, Bruins, Nashville and SJS all repeated their opening games success, all taking 2-0 leads.

    Will they resign Marazek in the offseason? Or was he just a band aide until Elliot got “better”? If so, is it Elliot and Lyon projected to start in October?
