Like the cable companies and the phone companies they will almost always have a better deal for new customers than for existing ones. You have to tell them that you are leaving to find out what they will really do for a deal.

I will point out that it's a code, not a law. To my American Legion friends I pointed out the US Olympics uniforms over the years and got the deer in the headlights stare. I'm pretty sure that hockey players wrapping themselves in the flag is against the code as well.
Now, burning the flag for political purposes, as well as flying it upside down is done in poor taste, but still not illegal.
