You never know when a random musical performance is just going to pop up.
I was in Summerside PEI about 30 years ago just talking in the sights at the waterfront when a bunch of people showed up with instruments and started playing.
It was not a scheduled event or anything but they were pretty good.
The Gremlin V8 was a 304 cid. Not exactly a torque monster but it was peppy.
The Mustang II was available with a 302. My brother in law had one.
My Gremlin was a 1972. Earlier versions of the 304 had over 200 hp and 300 lb ft of torque but by 72 the emissions hardware dropped those numbers substantially.
Nope. But I did enter a draw to win a $9,000 bike. Might be disqualified though because the shop that was doing the draw is one that I build and repair wheels for.
Not really an employee but still connected.
The annual bicycle show ain’t what it used to be that’s for sure.
Mostly taken over by e-bikes displayed by people who have no clue about the technology and are totally incapable of answering any questions beyond how much is it and where can I buy it.
Used to be a showcase for components and services. I even had a booth at the show 8 years ago but I wouldn’t waste my time and money now.
They have gone after a totally different audience.
Don’t think I will be going back.
Actually I think they should lump synchromesh transmissions with automatic and make a separate class for non synchro.
In my training days we got lots of European immigrants with years of driving experience in Europe but no clue how to drive a crash box.
