Today was a regular work day. Saturday & Sunday are power outage, they turn off the main power to the mill. All the electricians, a lot of mechanics, and a pile of contractors will be stumbling around in the dark doing jobs that can't be done with the power on. Monday I'll be trying to fix the shit that didn't work when the power came back on.

My daughter has lived in Pittsburgh, Myrtle Beach, and Baltimore. She says Baltimore is her favorite. She loves the beach and thought that Myrtle would be great.....When they had armed off duty cops to accompany them from the hospital to their cars on night shift, it took the shine off.

We used to have a few a year at work. Top management change and we haven't had one in years.

When the market crashed in 08, I watched a guy watch his holdings go from over a million to less than 100 grand in one night. It was painful for me, can't imagine what it was like for him. He had a lot of money in one stock, it had always done very well, then it didn't. Take your proffit

My Element flunked one year cause of the bumper, I think it cost around 400 to have it replaced. I don't think the Element has ever passed without needing some work, usually expensive, done. This last one was ball joints & tie rod ends, around 500 Hope I have better luck with Toyota.

Guys at work are pickling fools. Pretty soon there will be daily pickle jars. All home grown cukes & home concocted pickle juice, with an emphasis on heat and garlic. Some are very good, some are painful, and some are OK. Should be about time for the Hatch Chilies to be showing up. I thank Beans for telling us about the Hatch Chilies.

My first question was, is it really old, or is it a trojan horse with new evil in an old bottle. Blow the damn thing up and release a half ton of anthrax or some other toxic shit. I questioned the lack of barnacles & such, but one of the comments mentioned the storm in Hawaii, it may have been buried in the sand and set free by the storm. Hope it is old stock.

Glad it missed you ! What color was the sky ? I had a tornado pass less than a mile from me and the sky did turn green.
