Since I killed the new guy at work, I'll be living in Tom's basement for a while. Don't tell him. I can get my stuff out of the mailbox before he sees it.

Good idea, we can send him to Tesla. He can fix the production problems on the 3 series, come up with a restructuring of their debt, perfect the battery technology and redefine physics so they never need charging. Musk's wardrobe could also use an update.

All last week, every question he asked about his new company was answered by himself with the correct way we should do things. His first status meeting today turned into a hour and a half argument about magnetic theory - not his background, arguing with a pre-eminent expert in the field. A couple of us just left the meeting.

just put down weed & feed, can't mow til next weekend. I did get a ton of yard work done, got the peas planted.

I grow a LOT of bets, we keep some pickled an some frozen. Lots of roasted beets in the summer. I will be making that horseradish butter!

The problem with cell phones is that the act of conversing with someone who is not in the car psychologically also distances you from the car. It's not about the hands, it's about the brain. It's been proven over and over again, there is no difference between hands free and handheld, and while there are many distractions available, none are as efficient as the phone.

rather chill weekend. Dinner with a lot of friends tonight. If the tree guy gets there to clean up the tree by the garden in time, I'll plant the peas. Mass Saturday night, again Sunday morning, then we're doing a "play date with Jesus". Bring the kids, we'll show them around the church, explain why and what things are, let them see the mysterious placed they don't usually get to see. My job is to let them beat on instruments in the music area. Some wiring in the house, start overhauling the bike. Taking Mom to birthday dinner Sunday night, then hockey.

Way too many great ones. My favorite place to vacation would still be the lake in Vermont. Been going there since 1968. Plenty of friends over the years, there's usually a few houses full of family and friends, we schedule nothing for 2 weeks.

My daughter went to work this morning fully expecting to be laid off. She's still there, so likely survived the cut. Her floor is already understaffed. I read about the Hospital's woes, she needs to be looking for a new job anyway. They'll be closed in a year.

My daughter's boyfriend is Filipino. Within about 2 weeks, my mother asked him if he eats a lot of Chinese food, then, referencing my daughter's Korean roommate, asked if that was his sister.
