I'm still being upbrought. My parents were a large influence. But my wife has been in charge a whole lot longer than they were, I do think she's influenced me more. At least the good parts.

Pretty much just herbs. That would be awesome, just pick fresh herbs for cooking! You can add some LED strips for additional artificial sunlight if needed

Not sure if it's still this way, but they also pay interest on loans to have inventory sit on their lots. That's some manufacturers. Others have allocations that are increased or decreased based on how long cars sit unsold, among other incentives. Unsold inventory is wasted cash for them

They have to be done right. Don't bother with the ones from Mission BBQ. Not much good southern cooking here. When I was in NC helping Jr. Wife clean out her brother's house, we went to a small local diner for a real Southern meal. The collard greens were fantastic. Not sure what they did different, but those are the only ones I truly enjoyed. And, yes, the waitress called us "Hon"

Interesting that you bring this up now. Just yesterday, I saw a green that brought me back to my youth. There was a green phase for my parents. Green Opel, green Coronet wagon. Green couch and a couple chairs. Green wallpaper in a room. The summer spent scraping and painting the house in 3 shades of green. Which at least finally covered the embarrassingly bright blue and white. This was occurring at the same time that they embraced the 70's. The kitchen was a combination of stripes, flowers, geometric shapes in bright reds, oranges, yellows - and lime greens.

Coincidence? I just got a notice that my credit card account is locked - too many login attempts. The hack did seem to list some places where some of us live. I didn't click any of the posts, my parody title was a C&P of the title only

A couple times a month maybe. Usually I just guess. Years ago, I was making an LC circuit for a loudspeaker (on my lunch hour, of course). I was carrying a coil, probably 6" diameter of magnet wires, about 4 turns to go test it, from across the lab the savant engineer asked "what frequency are you after?" I told him, he said I need 2 more turns. Yeah, I calculated this I'll trust the results of the test, thank you. I needed 2 more turns.

I've got about 60% of my seeds up in a week. Wife did the seeding, so I think the seed depth was pretty inconsistent as she isn't use to this task. I really want to get the heat off the sprouts, but can't until they all some up. Actually enough sprouts that I had to turn on the grow lights. I may need to take the tray covers off soon. Still waiting to seed eggplants and squash, they get out of control if they are in trays too long.

Weekend plans as Saint Pat chases the snakes outta town

I was going to round up some snakes, but instead, going to see my niece in her HS show then dinner tonight. Tomorrow, St. Patty's party at a friend's house in Md, his Irish band is playing. We'll probably spend the night. Find a church, back home to get some work done. The AC in the GTI is not working. Just changed the compressor, It held vacuum, but not sure how much R134 it took since it was pretty cold. More likely the expansion block is clogged, so that means I need to release all that freon into the atmosphere and fix it.
