  1. Is your computer liquid cooled or air cooled?  I did not know they even had liquid cooled desktops.

How, did I get this on 'status update'?  My fingers must be playing tricks.

Dunno, I just went along with it.  :)

  2. Thought you might enjoy this photo I took in Jordan, MT, at the Garfield County Fair.  I was there judging the photo entries, and stayed for a few of the events.

I just saw it! Thanks! Sunny day, smiling faces.... Made me smile.

  4. You can't see me, but I am close.

  5. Are you going to let me in to P&R??

  6. Race sounded like it was a pretty good one yesterday.  I listened, but did not watch.  My wife flew into Austin yesterday, and she verified it was a cold day in Texas.

  7. Thought you would like this one.  It is of a friend, his lamas, and his Corgi on an elk hunt. She is a wonderful little dog.

  8. I don't want to give folks the wrong impression, but I really wanted to ask if your girlfriend with thunder thighs was the one with the clap.

  9. Here is a link to ColuberBiker or Emily O'Brien.  She was fairly active on the LF. I've always enjoyed reading about her adventures, but lost track of her overtime.

  10. A beautiful card, Thank You and Merry Christmas!!

Interestingly, Gwen said the same thing you did about the card when I showed it to her.:)

  11. Hey, Thanks again for your generosity.  The towels arrived yesterday.  They will make the critters very happy!

  12. I received a nice email on Thursday.  An artist I know in Billings notified me that she had used one of my mountain lion photos as a model for a black and white painting for a recent show.  It sold quickly, and she is going to make a few prints to sell.  Attached is what she sent to me.

That is very cool. Did you have to give permission in advance to copy your work or is that acceptable?

Yes, I send her photos, and she always asks if she can use some.  I've pretty well given her blanket approval to use what she needs.  She acknowledges that she painted from one of my photos, so I get credit for the original image.  This is the first one she has used.  I am as pleased and proud of her using the photos as I am when I sell one.

  14. Hi, are you home, if so, I'll send you a message with an attachment.  The artist that I told you about painted a black and white from my mountain lion photo.  She indicated it sold immediately.

  15. I see you and Indy were talking about moving the other day.  Are you moving to Great Falls?

  16. Well, my photo did not sell at the art auction this year.  One never knows from year to year.  After the one sold high last year, I still have a nice 2-year average.  I'll attach a few barrel racing photos I took last weekend. I am always amazed how athletic the horses are and love the expressions on some of the riders faces.  I'll send these via message, but do not feel right about posting them on the web.  I'll let the Montana High School Rodeo Association post the photos on their pages.

Very cool pictures.  You can feel the intensity from both the riders and the horses.  .  If the auction site was set up for easy online bids, I'm sure it would have sold quickly. :nodhead:  Would they consider putting the unsold items on an online site?

They do that at the Yellowstone Art Museum, but I don't think they have considered it here.  There were only a few items that did not sell, and I am sure the minimum bids were not met. I may try and get this one in the Yellowstone Art Museum Juried Show and Sale.

Well let me know if any of the charities do any online sales or auctions. :nodhead:

  17. Well, the crowd at the art auction and there were some very good photographs.  I had set a minimum bid of $400 on mine, they could not get that much, so I brought it home.  That is ok, as my 2-year average is still reasonable after the one sold for so much last year.

Hope things are going better for you.  At least you got to play with some wonderful puppies, as well as, your own.

I am going to attach a few barrel racing photos that I took last weekend. I don't feel right about just posting on the internet, but I thought you might enjoy seeing how athletic the horses are, and the facial expressions of the riders.

Thanks.  Barrel racing is a tough sport!  I am off to Albany for2 days of advocacy.

  18. Hope you are doing better today.

  19. Just wanted to make sure you saw the kids and doe in the 'Wonder if there are any wires under here' thread. That doe is quite a character.  Whenever we meet her in the driveway, she is always ready to stop and get rubbed and scratched.  She loves people.

  20. Glad you are having a nice trip.  I know a lady that lives in Prineville.  I think the two of would enjoy visiting.  Stay safe and have fun!

  21. I am in Kalispell, MT at the Triple D Game Farm.  I photographed the bear this morning, and the workshop will photograph mountain lions and wolves tomorrow.  We will photograph three different babies on Saturday.  I leave Sunday and will probably try to photograph animals at the National Bison Range located north of Missoula, MT.

  23. How long are you going to be in Idaho?  I'll be driving to Kalispell, MT on Tuesday or Wednesday and  may be in Missoula on the following Sunday or Monday.

  25. You could always contact the builder I've used in the past.  He is a talented builder and a really nice guy.  Just give him your needs and measurements, as well as, likes and dislikes and see what he has to offer.  You can even tell him Marshall Haferkamp from Montana suggested you contact him.:)
