I read it. I just don't understand it. They are closing the road to bikes when cars are not allowed, but opening the road to bikes when cars are allowed. I feel safer riding that road when there are no cars then when there are cars.

A couple more.

We spent the weekend mtbing in Lander. We rented a yurt in Sinks Canyon. We totally lucked out on the weather. Just as we finished riding on Sat and Sunday, it started raining.

None that I am aware of. Other roads in Yellowstone are open during this time period. I don't understand why they are closing just this entrance to spring riding before they open to cars. These photos are from mid-May 2020 and 2019. GTNP allows riding in April before the road opens to cars in May. Maybe they are trying to kill the Chester A. Arthur Memorial ride.

So, how was it?

I've made chimichurri on flank steak from this cookbook. It was easy and delicious.

Double hung windows look nice.

chimichurri is awesome, but flank steak should be medium rare. A-1 or Heinz will kill you. Isn't it just sugar and brown crap?

Our county mask mandate is ending May 7. We are averaging 3 cases per day. The hospital is in good shape. We moved to level yellow, low risk about a week ago. Fingers crossed for tourist season.

I rent in the land of millionaires. I scored affordable housing after a few years on the waiting list. I am on the waiting list to purchase, but that may never happen. Right. I drive a Subaru instead of Tesla, Porsche, or Land Rover so as not be ostentatious.
