  1. Is it really escalating the situation if you plant something in your own yard? The neighbor shouldn't have a say in what you plant in your own yard. If @KrAzY were planting it in his neighbor's yard, that would be a different story. I kind of like clover myself. @KrAzYPick a four leaf one for me once it's up. My wish is for a fancy new bike. If you find two, my second wish is your neighbor quits spraying your yard.

    Tourists

The fact that they let me live here makes it an oxymoron, but I qualify for affordable workforce housing.
  3. Whew, carry on. But it appears that your pant legs are different colors. Those are not clown pants are they?
  4. Are those square toe boots or did put the wrong shoes on this morning?
  5. Like if you go to the liquor store and they are sold out of your favorite bourbon, you've got to act fast.

Not in front or behind the dumpster in my neighborhood. This place is fancy.

Nice minivan. That jacket is hideous though.

Sometimes they can be annoying. Dude pulls into our parking lot and takes a piss behind the dumpster.
  9. I'm the same way. If we have a big trip planned, I'll make a reservation. But if we need a hotel on the way, we wing it. Worst case scenario, we can keep driving or sleep in the car. When we get to our destination, we decide what we want to do that day, not in advance. If it's windy, we might mt bike. If it's not, we might road bike.

Except I think it has Stan's wheels not those I9s
  12. Someone recently described me as a fly by the seat of your pants person. Covid has made that hard as things have been booked in advance. I wanted to do a fire tower trip, but they are all booked for the summer. If the weather looks good, I might load up the bike and disappear for the weekend. I usually keep my fly rod and gear packed so I can grab it and go any time I want.
  13. I think of CA like a country. Geographically, it is huge and diverse. It's a state the entire nation depends on for food. We would starve without CA. WI is America's dairyland, but CA produces more dairy than WI. Santa Maria tri tip is pretty damn good if you find it or make your own. It's unlike what a lot people might think of as BBQ. It's a spicy rub, but I have never put a sauce on it.

    Today's ride

Cool, but not cold. 40s, overcast, and windy. We still have some snow and have a big storm moving in tonight. Snow makes a great kickstand.
  15. That's fascinating to me. Our local grocery store has sold Santa Maria tri tip. They made it in house. It is delicious. I have a co-worker from CA and she said in CA when people say BBQ, they mean tri tip. Maybe it's regional, I think she is from central CA.
  16. https://buckrail.com/mtv-news-highlights-influx-of-celebrities-moving-to-wyoming-inequality-in-jh/ JACKSON, Wyo. — A segment on MTV News this week highlighted the influx of celebrities moving to Wyoming, specifically Jackson Hole. The 7-minute segment known as “The Pop Factor” discussed the implications of wealthy celebrities moving to Wyoming. According to the video, “Wyoming has the highest number of billionaires per capita…despite being off the beaten path.” The video cited Wyoming’s income tax breaks as the culprit behind this mass exodus of the ultra-wealthy to the state. A long-standing and contentious issue in the valley, the COVID pandemic has seen a rising trend of more wealthy citizens moving to the northwest corner of Wyoming which has put pressure on locally-based professionals to find affordable housing options. “For a studio, you’re looking at $1,800 plus, and those are on the lower end of the spectrum,” ShelterJH coordinator Clare Stumpf said in an interview on the segment. Shelter JH, a Jackson-based nonprofit, is dedicated to addressing the housing crisis in Jackson Hole.
  17. What did the dentist receive when he won dentist of the year? A little plaque.
  18. Our county just moved from orange(moderate) to yellow(low) risk level. We are averaging 3 new cases a day. Vaccines are now available with an appt or drop in to anyone 16 and up. We are leading the state in vaccine rates, but I think WY is dead last. We might be the only county in the state that still requires masks.
  19. I use Stan's, but there are a lot of choices now. The tires probably have tubes in them since they don't usually ship a bike with the tires and sealant. The process is pretty simple. Take the tubes out. The wheel should be taped already. Inspect it for wrinkles and tears. Put the valve stem in and lock it down snug with the nut. Mount the tire and inflate. A compressor is great but not necessary. The bead should seat and make a popping sound. Check the tire to see that the bead seated evenly. Take the valve core out and let the air out. Put your sealant in. Replace the valve core and inflate the tire. Shake the wheel, spin it, move the sealant around so it is all over the tire and rim. You are good to go.
  20. I've owned multiple sets of Stan's wheels. They are amazing. I have Flows and 355s now. They are easy to set up tubeless. Check the taping, get good valve stems, and tubeless ready tires.
  21. Ditto. Unless she is your FB friend, how can she see your pics? I would not engage on FB at all.
  22. I bought a car in July and a bike in Jan. I need razors.
  23. Congratulations! Publishing a book is not an easy task. Have you considered making it available for local retailers to sell? Who edited it for you? Did you submit metadata to the retailers?
