  1. This parody is golden.
  2. When I lived in New Mexico, I had swamp coolers. They were an interesting experience.
  3. Looks great. I clean mine every Spring and again towards the end of Summer. I keep the top covered starting in the Fall until the Maple tree seeds quit twirling down in the Spring.

  7. My car's GPS once told me to turn onto the Katy Trail. Fortunately the bollards block drivers from doing that.
  8. I trained many women to work on aircraft including replacing 250 pound wheel and tire assemblies plus jacking up aircraft by hand that weighed 80,000 pounds. I even hired a woman to do the same training.

  15. 18.4 miles on the tandem. WoJSTL's first ride of the year. Saw a bald eagle in its nest. Also about 15 wild turkeys. Great weather.
  16. That is impressive.
  17. DJ GW! I still have my Pioneer from the 1970s. The last time that I used it was to show my grandsons how we used to listen to music back in the day. They were confused.
  18. Not so much when as where. Places where I used to enjoy riding are now built up with housing and distracted drivers. When riding on the roads, I usually head out to more rural areas. Fortunately, there's about 400 miles of bike trails nearby not counting the Katy Trail. Winter can be a challenge with snow and ice. In one of the rural areas, they use cinders from a coal power plant in addition to salt. Those things are horrible for tires. Think goatheads on steroids. We had a group ride of about 20 riders in that area once and we averaged a flat per bike. It takes a month or so after the last application of the cinders before it's safe to ride in that area.
  19. It will be 2 years for me in June.....
