    30.1 miles on the road bike. It wasn't supposed to rain until 1 pm so I started out early. Nope. I got soaked during the last 4 miles and the temp dropped into the 50s.

    A lot of gas stations don't make all that much money on gasoline or diesel. The bigger profit margin is when people come into the store to shop or eat. Since electric vehicles take longer to "fill up", I could see the profit still flowing in if the stations do a good job of catering to EV customers.

    17.11 miles on the tandem with WoJSTL. Cold and a little windy. That 17 mile section of the bike path has 25 Strava segments and I'm the local legend for them all. I need to start riding other places. WoJSTL is the women's local legend on 22 of the segments.

    Was RG in Taiwan? I saw that they had a little earthquake there. I see that NJ also had a little shaking going on. Probably just an illegal garbage dump settling or Jimmy Hoffa trying to dig his was out.

    If the parents have a Lamborghini, the kid probably figured that they could buy him out of any real trouble.

    He's a workaholic and loves his job. Retirement sent him into a little depression. I think that they will need to pry him out of his office the next time. He isn't quite 60 years old yet. You might find this interesting. One of his jobs is to fly to China two or three times a year to work on GE accounts over there.

    I have a cousin-in-law who works for GE Aerospace in upper management. Last year they "suggested' that he retire and gave him a nice separation package. Last month they begged him to come back, which he did. He got to keep the separation package. And he wasn't the only one. I wonder if the split had anything to do with it.

    When my mother was 80 years-old, she locked in a good chunk of money for 7 years. We thought that she was being foolish. Well she's 90 years-old now.

    Pretty good. I just discount the obvious suspects and pick someone obscure in the story. I'm a big fan of the Inspector Morris, Inspector Lewis, and Endeavor series. I've read all the books. I'm also a fan of Oxford murder mystery books. There's sure a lot of people murdered in Oxford!
