My big haircut is today. I put it off a few weeks so it would be fresh for my daughter’s wedding May 11th.

We have bulk trash 11 months a year in our city. November is omitted for obvious reasons. It’s a badge of shame if your bulk trash doesn’t get taken by the scrappers first.

At my work, they have cutouts of birds to scare off potential window crashes. Maybe the museum could put up cutouts of people to keep them from cracking their noggins.

My Retirement Funds are taking a beating this month, down $18,000 Just hope they start bouncing back soon. I guess it means stocks are on sale, so I shouldn’t complain too much.

A man from my church is listed in the credits as a medic. I think he’s in the support crew, rather than having a bit part as a medic. I think the movie had significant parts filmed in Buffalo, if you needed any more incentive to go.

A weekend of international travel. BuffCarla and I are headed to Niagara on the Lake for a one night visit. Will likely visit Fort George, a key fort in the War of 1812, and dinner reservations at a fancy restaurant Sat night. Stay in a country inn and head back Sunday, maybe visiting a winery along the way. Until Saturday afternoon I’ve got a suit fitting and a haircut for my daughter’s wedding 3 weeks away.

Randomguy is right again. Canned beans rock. Will acknowledge that fresh green beans are more nutritious, but for taste there’s no contest. You may take solace in his erroneous thinking that canned mushrooms are better than fresh.

Didn’t know what part of the state you were in. Every time I’ve driven in your area, it was crazy, due to the NASCAR culture combined with the proximity to DC.
