Thank you for your encouraging words. I think I may have been able to ride more if I had aired down, and I totally agree that the Bulldozers aren't good for snow. And it is my first winter on this bike. 

I was in complete awe at how hard you trained for your races. That was amazing. I'll never truly race, but maaayyyybe I'll give this event another shot just to complete it.

I've spent quite a bit of time preparing for this. I think I lucked out with my "home base." I am about 2 blocks from a subway line that will be "easy" for travel to and from the airport and into the city for stuff I want to do.

Very excited, but yes, "apprehension" is a good word. Can't believe I'm actually doing this! hee hee.,..
